Inexpensive added insurance against flat tires on your ride
The negative is that these are tricky to install in narrower rims as they take up space from your tube. The other negative is slightly more weight and increased rolling resistance. The positive is that these do work and greatly reduce your chances of getting a puncture. They were inexpensive and on my commuter bike using contact tires, I haven’t punctured in 600 miles since installing these. Recommended!

Thick, Pliable and Easy to Install. Adds Confidence a Puncture Will Be Prevented.
As serendipity would have it, I noticed the Qubort Bike Tire Liners become available at the same time I got a flat tire on my mountain bike, so that installing the liner could not have come at a more convenient time.Installing the liner wasn’t too difficult. I found that placing the entire roll inside the tire, then holding the rolled-out part down while unwinding the roll around the tire to be the most efficient method. Unwinding the liner into the tire from outside it was unwieldy, awkward and imprecise. Be sure to hold the liner in place while unwinding it inside the tire, otherwise it’ll slip and you’ll end up sizing it incorrectly. In my case, I held the unfurled liner in place with my left hand while unwinding it with my right.Although I’ve only ridden a couple of times since installing it (and haven’t gotten a flat tire), the liner is thick and creates the impression that it will work as a shield against all but very sharp objects. It is made of a firm plastic, but pliable enough that it will likely also absorb and prevent potential shock punctures. The puncture I just repaired looked needle size, and likely came from a plant thorn, and that it went through my bikes knobby tire itself must have entered at just the right angle. This is the most common puncture I see while riding off-road, and will likely be the most enlightening test of the Qubort Bike tire Liner; will it withstand those or not. Right now, my front tire is lined and the back isn’t, so I have a test environment going forward. The liner does create the confidence that it’s protective and I have no doubts that it will prevent many punctures, for those reasons I’ve already stated. The next time I need to do a repair on the rear tire, I’ll install the Qubort Liner inside that one as well. Or, in the interest of preventing a puncture, maybe I’ll motivate myself to install it before.

Extra peace of mind
This was relatively easy to install and gives me a little more peace of mind knowing my bike tires might be more resistant to punctures. Been riding with them for about 50 miles without any problems. Time will tell, though.I got these because I thought they were specifically from fat tire bikes. They do not look any wider so it doesn't really cover the entire fat tire surface. FYI

They'll protect against goatheads
Goatheads, the bane of bike riders, are actually called puncturevine. And no, I'm not making this up. Here in the high desert, they're everywhere. My son once came home from a street ride on his bicycle, with two flat tires. I counted 40-some goatheads.Slime often isn't enough, and sometimes a thorn will get in from the side, around a tire liner. But the combination of slime and a liner is best, nearly eliminating the need to patch innertubes.I didn't have to look far outside to find a fresh goathead and test these liners. Try as I did, I couldn't get it to pierce this liner. I wanted to be sure before spending time putting these in my son's new e-bike that he'll find under the tree in a couple of weeks. I'm confident that these will do the job.

Sturdy liners - will add a bit of weight
This is a set of sturdy feeling bike tire liners. I like the bright green color a lot (even though once installed you won't see it). I've actually never used any before and have certainly suffered plenty of flat tires cause by mostly nails and pieces of sharp metal wire. They are a lot thicker and stiffer than I expected which make them a bit easier to install (there is no adhesive). Only thing is usually when I change tubes I just pry loose one side of the tire and pull the tube out. With these it's necessary to take the entire tire off the rim otherwise it'll be difficult to fit the liner in. So a bit of an extra step but worth it if this will prevent punctures. Note they are hefty so will add a bit more weight to your bike.

Good Flat Protection
I've had these in a set of 27.5" x 2.5" Maxxis Hookworms for a few weeks now and have not had a flat, not even close. These strips are thick, strong, and light, and I'll never use a tube without these strips installed ever again. I can pretty much run over anything I want and not worry about a puncture deep enough to cause a flat or a slow leak. I mainly ride on hard surfaces so there's a lot of hard and sharp debris in the bike lanes and these strips are very good at eliminating punctures from goatheads, glass, tacks, nails etc etc etc.
