I have had a large problem with moths for about a year. At some point I'll be replacing the carpet with a wooden floor but I'm not yet in a position to do that. I have been controlling moths with a more expensive brand of these moth pads in plastic containers. I was somewhat sceptical that something a third of the price would work as well but I had to try them anyway.My first observation was that they're slightly smaller - but this in no way affects their effectiveness and I'm delighted with them. . I have put dozens of these around my house, without the plastic cases, and they really work. I just write the date on the back and replace them every couple of months. I'm confident that I'm slowly curing the problem until I can eventually replace the carpet.

Ruined woollies, holes in carpets under sofas! I love all creepy crawlies, buzzing bees, even spiders. I even catch bluebottles and let them out of the window, but moths are enemies to be murdered, and I don't care how much they suffer. Make sure that you get these sticky moth papers in Spring and spread them about the house - under sofas, inside wardrobes, on walls behind beds. I sometimes use the plastic container, but often I just stick the papers to the wall with masking tape - you could use sellotape but you might pull the paint off when you remove the paper - with moths stuck all over it if you have an infestation. The head count of dead moths shows is an indication of your moth population. After two years, my headcount is now very low.

Moths are a problem in my area so imagine my horror when I found I had my very own nest of millions of the nasties in my vacuum cleaner 🤢 Returned home from a trip to find them all over the hallways. The old traps I put out before I left were full to bursting. I now have these in almost every room and the numbers of little erratic flying nasties I see every night is ALMOST completely gone, the traps are satisfyingly full. Now I just have to wash everything 😖)

works on catching moths, spiders silver fish. the insects getting stuck is horrible, but it works if you dispose of them quickly and not leave them to die slowly in the glue. This year not so many moths but caught some huge house spiders so i would recommend

I've been using these types of moth traps for several years and they definitely help keep the moth number down. In conjunction with regular vacuuming, I find it best if I put down these moth traps in early Spring before the moths start to hatch again, as the most effective way of keeping down the moth numbers. Its also important to replace these with new moth traps every six weeks or so.
