Simply amazing Performance, lost for words
First impression is of its size its big, like really big, and heavy, the construction quality is superb it really does look and feel like a £1900 top of the range luxury graphics card (which is still too expensive Imo.This MSI 4090 Nvidia Gaming GPU is now matched with a huge 'cooling fan system' that really works, this MSI 4090 Gaming is an 'almost unnoticed whisper' monster of a card even gaming at max fps and intense 2k/4k graphics its almost unnoticed it's almost silent (with the bios Silent/ gaming switch in either position) - compared to my RTX 3080 which was like a fan heater heating my room with its fans working hard and loud (but did the job, if loud and hot.The installing was easy nothing complicated & windows saw it first boot, i used the 3 screw GPU Holder that comes with the card easy to fix into place, also used a vertical 3rd party screw metal support at the far end, now nothing sags or moves at all.Expensive il say - but what an absolute tour de force of technology from MSI & Nvidia(Until .. the 5090 anyway and likely more expensive.

Cool and Quiet Powerhouse
The MSI 4090 Suprim X graphics card is a true powerhouse for both gaming and content creation, and its cooling performance is simply astounding! Even during demanding tasks like 3D modeling and video production, this card runs whisper-quiet and keeps temperatures in check, ensuring a smooth and uninterrupted creative workflow. The Suprim X's advanced cooling system keeps the card running cool and quiet, even during prolonged gaming sessions or resource-intensive rendering. This allows me to focus on my projects without any distractions, and the card's stability and reliability are top-notch.It's raw power and smooth frame rates provide an immersive and seamless gaming experience, while also accelerating my 3D modeling and video rendering tasks beyond my expectations.Installation was a breeze, and the card's sleek design and RGB lighting add a extra touch of style to my setup. I'm thoroughly impressed with the MSI 4090 Suprim X's cooling performance and silent operation, making it an excellent choice for serious gamers and content creators alike. It's fan stop motion when lower than 50c also works very well.If you want a graphics card that delivers unmatched performance without compromising on cooling and noise levels, the MSI 4090 Suprim X is a top contender.

The best graphics card of all time bar none
Going from a 3090 watercooled, I wanted the dream of seeing games like Cyberpunk and Watch Dogs Legion in 60fps+.The 3090 didn't get close in 4K, even with DLSS on. This monster absolutely obliterates all games, redefining graphics cards standards in the process.Control - 4K, no DLSS, 90fps. Add DLSS and I'm maxing out my 144Hz screen.WDL - 4K, no DLSS, 55-80. Add DLSS and it's hitting the 100+ levels.Cyberpunk - 4K, no DLSS - 35-60. Add DLSS it's 60 to 130.The numbers from the 4090 are just ludicrous and it's the 4K card we all waited for. Seeing Flight Sim happily in the 70fps range at full settings is unreal. The three downsides: the cost. It's not cheap, at well over £2000. The energy consumption. 450W is pretty insane during this cost of living crisis. And that horribly designed connector which has seen some graphics cards melted. It was a nightmare plugging this in to the PCIE leads. It is dreadful and it looks horrible.I also had a mare installing it due to the nature of the cable mess. It ended up taking 8 hours. But for performance, noise (it's silent) and general brilliance, it's flawless.

Faulty vram
Arrived onetime, faulty vram though, anytime the gpu was used for more than a minute, the card crashed and caused a bsod.Good job it arrived faulty so I could return it instead of RMAing it.

4K gaming with the MSI RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio
I love the look of this GPU above all others on the market (MSI RTX 4090 Gaming X Trio) it’s a shame it doesn’t offer the same cooling as the Suprim X but that was out of stock, even more expensive and didn’t have dark and stealthy look the Gaming X has. I chose this gpu over the 4070ti as I knew I would still be envious of the 4090’s and probably end up upgrading again sooner than I wanted. It is a large GPU and it was a tight fit in my current case so do as I did and make sure it fits and avoid disappointment. I matched this with a MSI MPG 1000w power supply with 12vhpwr because MSI is a brand I can trust and it has future proofed my set up ready for my next upgrade. If you are looking at a new GPU and have the space in your case for a 4090 this product will exceed your expectations as it has everything you could wish for… The looks, the ease of fitting, the power and a reliable name you can trust. Top marks for MSI.

What an absolute beast!
This graphics card is so big! I mean seriously, it's massive. I have a full tower ATX case and I had about 10mm of clearance before it hit the hard drive mounts. It's super thick too, taking up 3 PCIE spaces from my case and needs a separate bracket to help support the weight. Needs 3 8 pin power cables to power it but thankfully it comes with an adapter. The RGB is nice if not a little understated. The performance though is amazing. Instead of barely getting 60fps on most games with my RTX3060 and having to turn down the graphics options and turning off ray tracing on newer titles like dark tide, this happily runs it at full graphics options with ray tracing on and comfortably puts out around 120fps.Note: 850w is the bare minimum and the card will sometimes crash if the power draw spikes.Recommended is 1000w which will handle this comfortably.

A beast but
Unless you are running VR I'd go for the 3080 ti as it'll do everything you need for over a thousand pounds less.Whilst this is a good vr upgrade it is not the vr monster you would hope given it's obscene price.
