Great Height For Taller Sizes
I read reviews before purchasing and most people liked the riser for added height and comfort.Upon installing I had similar positive expieriences with the product finding the added height made a noticeable difference when standing up,being tall and in a small space you need all the advantages you can find and this toilet riser helps out making it easier and safer. All hardware was supplied including 2 seals to complete the job,I was lucky and didn't have to extend the water line as there was enough slack to make it work.It did take my body weight on the toilet to help tighten the bolts and compress the new seals so it wouldn't rock.Had to evenly almost bottom out both nuts to fully secure the unit to floor using 1/2" open end wrench.Installs fairly easy and adds appeal with purpose. It was cost effective compared to a new toilet.

Riser
The item dicription did not list that it comes with the seals and screws. Ended up ordering extra that we didn't need. Other than that it was very easy to install.

Sturdy, fit well, and great product
We are in our 60's and joints not what they used to be so we thought we should replace the toilet in our camper to a higher one when we had to replace our camper floor. Checking prices for new toilets were pretty high and there was nothing wrong with ours except it is pretty old. I found this riser on Amazon, which was must less of a price compared to dealers, and we installed it in no time (like others mentioned need new longer water lines or extensions). It does take someone to sit on the toilet while the other person tightens it up. It is fantastic and great investment to have a higher toilet in your camper. Sealed great with no leaks, is sturdy, and fit well with our old Thetford toilet and actually looks as if it is all one unit. I highly recommend this riser if you need or want a taller camper toilet! Happy Camper so far!

thetford toilet riser is great
The riser works very well and gave me just the added height that was needed. It was very easy to install. The only thing that I would suggest to the company would be to also make them in an off white or beige color. The white stands out to much against the beige color of my toilet.

Complete New Residential height toilet
Went with. 20 inch toilet and riser to make for Handicap use in a 5th wheel Hitchhicker . Harder to get the old one out versus putting the new one in

Raises toilet to perfect height!! Works with current Thetford toilet.
This worked great in our Rialta. Trick is getting the toilet out. There is a hidden port/cover at back of toilet that allows you to remove the rear nut with socket and extensions.(ther are 2 nuts securing toilet - right front, left rear) Look for it, you'll find it. To replace the nut I placed a hanger rod on top of stud (thru access hole) and then dropped the nut on hanger rod, so it slid down the rod and ends up on the top of stud ready to be tightened. There is no other way to position the nut. Tight with fingers and then socket or stubby wrench. This brings the seat up the perfect height and fits exactly in the spot for the Rialta. Almost looks like it was made for it. Even include the longer studs you will need.

Has the manufacturer actually tried to install one of these ?
You get two gaskets, one for the bottom of the riser to the mounting flange and the other for the bottom of your toilet to the riser. They are way to thick, more than necessary. Trying to tightened the nuts to compress the gaskets the toilet would still wobble, So I continued to tighten still having wobble. Ended up breaking the mounting flange. Now what to do ! I bought a 5/16 inch coarse thread X 6 inch long hanger bolt. Piloted a hole for the hanger bolt where the flange was broken and screwed it in 1 1/2 inches leaving 4 1/2 inches above the floor. There is a 6 inch center to center spread between the bolts. Took a kitchen electric craving knife and very carefully cut one of the gaskets in half thickness wise. Fit that to the bottom of the riser. Dry fitted that and seemed good. Tried the same thing with the toilet to the riser, still way to much gasket. So I measured the bottom of the toilet where it fits into the riser. It’s 3 3/4 inches on the outside. Then measured the inside of the riser where the toilet fits into the riser, 4 inches on the inside, 1/8th of an inch radius difference. So I took one of the pieces of gasket I’d cut off and trimmed that to fit. Finally got it all back together and it fits tight with no wobble. Haven’t hooked up water yet and tested it. I just can’t believe that anyone could possibly get this together with both gaskets as they are. I’ll update if I have any water leaks or seepage. UPDATE; So far no leakage, but this thing is 15 1/2 inches square. In our very small RV bathroom it makes it even harder to get around to the shower. If I had it to do over I would just go ahead and buy the whole toilet, the high profile model.

Comfort worth the vost
Simple design, easy install. Yours may require water supply reroute but simple to do with common parts from hdwe. store.

Ez 2 inch extension
We have a 20 year old Sealand 510 in our Holiday Rambler. We are getting older and the low height of the toilet was bothering my wife. So instead of replacing the original porcelain toilet I got this. Simple installation and works great.

Toilet riser really did the job
Fairly easy to instsall on our 1996 Rialta FD Twin. Had to slightly modify to fit the bottom of the riser to shower floor, as there was a lip interfering with it to make it nice and flat. I recommend as an excellent alternative to replacing the complete toilet for a more expensive new high riser unit.

Disappointment
For my application the Thetford toilet riser was not the solution. I found the gaskets provided were much to thick and even with full weight on toilet to tighten the anchor bolts the gaskets did not compress enough. As a matter of fact I ended up ruining the toilet flange and needed to make additional repairs to replace toilet without the riser.
