18V 5.5Ah DCB184 Lithium-Ion Replacement Battery for Dewalt 18V XR Power Tools compatible with DCB180 DCB182 DCB183 DCB200 DCB201

I bought a converter from the old nicad post type batteries for my ancient DeWalt drill to Lithium-ion. I then needed a Lithium-ion battery. This was a good capacity and much cheaper that Original batteries. Worked great and seems to last a long time. Saved me throwing away a perfectly good working drill and gave it a new lease of life. I would definitely this battery again if I needed. Happy.

Bought to fit Dewalt 18V XR impact driver and pole chain saw, works with no problems so far.

Delivered next day by Amazon which was great.Was already around 70% charged and just needed topping up. It was also nice to see it included a protective plastic battery terminal cover to help stop ingress of dirt particles. The battery itself looks to be high quality and fits the tools perfectly.Very good value item I can recommend 👍👍👍

The battery already comes partially charged, so you could start working with it right away, although I would recommend giving it a full charge in receipt.🧰 As is usual with such batteries, it incorporates a protection system that safeguards against overcharging, over-discharging, overheating, and short circuits. Not that there is much chance of these occurring, but the reassurance is handy to have. Overheating is probably the biggest risk when you use high-draw tools, but the ones that I tried it with were all happy with the current supplied, and the battery didn’t really break a sweat.🧰 I am slightly confused by the product information that claims that the battery should not be fully discharged—quite sensible to not go below 20%—while simultaneously saying that the battery has no memory effect, allowing the battery to be discharged as needed without loss of capacity. I presume that they mean that, provided that you don’t go too low, the battery should be fine.🧰 While it's too early to assess long-term durability, the initial performance is impressive. The manufacturing quality is good, with no cheap plastic evident, and the connectors all look strong and make positive connections to the power tool terminal posts, as far as I can tell. I really like that you get a dust cap included to keep the connectors nice and clean when not in use.🧰 In summary, this Dewalt-compatible battery should give reliable performance and is certainly great value for money when compared with the cost of the originals. It’s a great deal if you have bought a kit with one of the 1500mAh batteries and want to upgrade without spending a fortune. ✔️

Works really well. Happy with purchase. Impressed by meter if accurate should last about as long as a 4ah battery from dewalt. Did a full table with a hand sander 2m sq with no dulling or slowing and still a full charge on max. Not a great test but it’s got power to push battery tools so super purchase
