Hard to find nice replacement laces that look as nice as what comes with hiking shoes / boots. These are nice replacements.

For years I've patiently tied and untied the black flat stringy default shoelaces that come with my preferred running/exercise ASICS Men's Gel-Venture 9 Running shoes, not realizing how much time gets wasted and how annoying it is to have to peer at the black laces, pick at the tight knots, and patiently untangle them. Sometimes I'd have to slip the shoe off and set it on my lap, under bright light, to decipher the tiny little hard-to-untie knots the default shoelaces tangle themselves into. Other times a single lace will for no apparent reason spontaneously get knotted up by itself, requiring heavy but precisely directed pincer force to untie and resolve. NO MORE: I resolved to get some nice round shape laces and found this beautiful selection of sizes and colors with Delele. I untied my shoe, measured the length of the lace, and got the equivalent length in Dalele. The laces look good and now tying and untying my shoes is so much easier: I've added pleasure to my everyday life -- and will save, cumulatively, hours and hours of time! 💥💙💙💙👊👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾💙👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾⭐⭐💙⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought these laces for my work boots because I got tired of having to double-knot them to prevent them from coming untied every ten minutes. I've had these for a couple of weeks and they have stayed tied after working all day in my boots. If they still work just as well in a month or so I will probably order several more pairs. In my opinion, well worth the money.UPDATE:When I first replaced my old laces with these new Delele laces they worked great and I was satisfied that I finally found the solution to my laces constantly coming untied. My satisfaction didn’t last long.After about two months of ordinary use (light work around my property, no strenuous activity or hiking, etc.) the laces began stretching and coming untied. They wouldn’t stay tight around my boot hooks and kept working their way over and off of them, forcing me to stop what I was doing to re-tie them.After about four months of daily use (a couple of hours per day and again, nothing strenuous) the outer covering became very thin from constantly stretching during the process of tying them. Then the outer covering tore away from the inner nylon cord (the laces are essentially para-cord, like what is used in parachute lines). Once that happened, the laces became useless and could no longer be tightened.My journey for laces that stay tied resumes.

These wear out a bit too fast: just two seasons on snow boots. The originals were about as good, so maybe this is the OEM supplier? I need better - I'm switching to heavier duty/higher quality laces elsewhere.
