Great quality and keeps him occupied

This is a really impressive and nicely designed snuffle mat that almost looks more like a toy for children rather than dogs! It’s styled to look like a colourful breakfast table, complete with a croissant, cup of coffee, and a frying pan with bacon and eggs (and salad??). But everything is constructed from soft fleece and in amongst the cosy domestic scene are all sorts of textures to explore and hidey holes where treats can be secreted away for stimulating snuffle play. There are some clever features too - the yolk of the egg squeaks, the croissant is attached with velcro so can be used as a toy in its own right, and the frying pan and contents also detaches for a more compact and portable snuffle toy. At 70 x 47cm it’s a good size, but it can fold up for storage and includes a nylon cord to tie (a drawstring bag would have been even better. At time of review it’s priced at £24.99 and it is a lovely enrichment toy for dogs, especially those who are left alone a bit or otherwise need a bit of extra stimulation. My only concern is how long it will last - the fabric feels nice quality but some pieces are only secured in one spot and I’m not convinced it will stand up to an enthusiastic dog. Our Jack Russell is not an aggressive chewer so hopefully it will stand the test of time in our house.

What a wonderful item. Our son always eats his food way too quickly and we worry about indigestion and reflux but this has sorted that right out. In addition to treats we feed him his kibble half in his bowl and half stashed in here. It takes him an age! Thus acts as a slow feeder (being a pug he doesn’t have the snout for slow feeder bowls) plus it keeps him amused for about 15 mins! Great if you want to get dressed without having your socks and toes chewed. Plus it’s aiding his sensory and hunting skills. Also gives the cats a bit of peace and quiet so they can eat their food without a crazy pup bothering them. Highly recommend and hilarious design. Not sure what the green bits are in the frying pan though!?! Sprouts? Salad? Haha. Just brilliant. I’m off to order more of these !

We have a daschund and he loves hunting for treats hidden on this play mat. There are lots of places to hide the treats and plenty of different textures to stimulate your dog and improve their hunting skills. The frying pan and other parts are connected with velcro so you can take parts off to change the puzzle. This is handy for washing also. The mat is still in good condition despite everyday use and regular washes. Weve had this for 2 months and theres no fraying or bits coming off so far.

My puppy of 16wks didn't want to know had a sniff at the mat and walked away, not touched it since now he is 19wks still doesn't want to know. So it was a waste of money.

Keeps the dog entertained for a while, it’s whimsical and well made. Recommend getting it for your pet. The cat likes it too.

Decided to upgrade from the puzzle ball our dog loved and this was perfect! Actually kept him entertained and working for his treats. Reccomend!
