Buy this Study Guide to pass CBAP exam in the 1st attempt
I am very glad that I got an efficient Study guide for my CBAP preparation. I am very thankful for the Authors of this Study guide and I passed the exam in my 1st attempt. Just want to share the trend. Initially I was going through only BABOK in one of IIBA Local Chapters and my score used to range between 50% and 60%. I was little worried and then I came across this study guide in Amazon. It really helped me understand the BABOK easily. With the help of this Study guide & BABOK my score of the practice exams ranged between 65% and 75%. Then comes the interesting part - Exam simulation - Trial offer for 5 days. After completing several drill and full simulation exams my scoring ranged between 80% and 90%. It really helped to face the actual CBAP exam with full confident. But please note 90% in simulation does not mean that you are all set for exam. As mentioned in the study guide, BABOK should be one's primary study material. However, my only comment about this Study guide, Stakeholders and their roles are not captured detailed in each KAs/Tasks in this study guide. I strongly recommend to go through the Stakeholders part in BABOK under each KA/Task.Its really worthful to buy this study guide especially for the trial period of simulation exams. The actual exam is almost similar to the simuulation exams but for sure you need to study every line in BABOK. I strongly recommend this study guide to my friends. Good luck.Regards,Saba CBAP, AINS

I would give it 5 stars if....
I passed the CBAP exam with around a month of part time study and rely on mostly the materials in this book. However, this study guide cannot be the sole resource to prepare for the exam, the key is to do lots of full CBAP exam simulator. (see bottom paragraph regarding my take on online exams)I have a few suggested improvements and this study guide will worth 5 stars IMHO:1) I believe the authors purposely not discuss the stakeholders for each task, however, I found that in the actual test, there are quite a few questions on stakeholders. Luckily I discovered that when I did the online exam and referenced back to BABOK to study the details before the exam. If the author can just provide a brief summary on stakeholder involvements for each task, that will be great.2) This guide discuss techniques together with the knowledge areas which is great (unlike BABOK have a separate chapter on techniques). However, the content and key points on the techniques stayed at a high/summary level, in the actual exams there are MANY scenario based questions on the techniques.3) Provide a combo deal - purchase this guide and get a discount on watermark online exams :) They did give you free 5 days pass but definitely not enough.I purchased Watermark as well as BAMentor online exams, the questions are worded quite differently between the two vendors. I would say watermark is pretty straight forward and tend to focus on the content in the study guide. Also you can only review the most recent exam you took. I felt BA Mentor online exam is closer to the actual exam question style (i.e. not easy to understand what they are really asking). They also test concept in the BABOK which Watermark didn't even mention in their guide; and allow to review all previous exams that you have taken. So it is up to you which one you want to spend money on or both. (I recommend to get both especially if you have limited exam prep time, like me)I still highly recommend this guide since it is organized in a way to make it easy to understand and memorize the key concepts so that they can be readily recalled during the exam.

Best Guide on the market
Indeed the best Guide on the market. We are using it as part of our courses in Germany at masVenta and we are getting excellent feedback all the time. Some of our students have compared it to other Guides and the clearly prefer this one.Structured, easy to read and full of mnemonics with which we always have a lof of fun in the courses. Another nice ingredient is the 5 days trial subscription of the Online Study Exam Simulator, a key success factor for anybody who applies for the exam. If you can fully focus the last five days on using the Online Simulation you might not need to subscribe for further days. Im any case I recommend to do at least 2-3 full-blown exam simulations with 150 questions in 3.5 hrs (no breaks, no books, no food, no cigarettes ;-). If you have more than 80% you are lucky and can make your appointment. I have passed my exam that way already 4 yrs ago.

Well written and VERY useful
I went by the reviews, and got this book early in my preparation. The book is very well structured, and helped clarify for me a lot of the material in the BABOK. The 5 day trial of the online content was critical to my preparation (I passed this month on my first attempt). In the last 3 weeks of preparation, I found myself going back and forth between this book and the BABOK frequently. I went through the BABOK a few times, this study guide once, and did a total of about a 1000 exam questions. Also tried this --> http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/1890367540/ref=cm_cr_mts_prod_img , but the watermark CBAP certification guide was far better, and the question in the guide and the online exam a lot closer to the actual exam questions.
