wurth diesel particulate cleaner 400 ml dpf cleaner

April 2020 Ive not had any dpf issues in the 6 months I have owned my car but decided to purchase this for my golf tdi as a preventative measure. After using this product and taking my car for a drive to initiate passive regeneration, my car kicked out black/white smoke out of the exhaust after 3 mins. I had to put my foot down for this to work. Ive noticed my car has been more responsive since and better mpg. Will defo be buying another tin in the future.Feb 2021 Update.... The Wurth stuff is the best! Let me explain why this is. I have tried 2 other much cheaper DPF cleaners over the past year and I can tell they did not do anything. I have 2 ways of identifying this. First is that I have a cat back performance exhaust. I cleaned the exhaust tips insides prior to using the DPF cleaners. The cheaper DPF cleaners did not leave any mark at all inside the exhaust tips when I took my car for a drive. When I use the Wurth DPF cleaner, the insides of the exhaust tips are covered with black! This is one way I know that the Wurth DPF cleaner works and other cheaper ones don't.The second way I know if a DPF cleaner has worked is that I will put my foot down on a motorway. The cheaper DPF cleaners did not let out any smoke out of the exhaust. The Wurth DPF cleaners let out a trail of smoke behind me on the motorway. Therefore, indicating that the Wurth DPF cleaner has done its job. The lesson here is, you get what you pay for!I know your probably thinking that a trail of smoke is bad and black exhaust tips is bad but I promise that is not the case. This is exactly what you want to see when using a DPF cleaner to show that the dpf has been properly cleaned and flushed through.
