This has been very helpful to transition real world shapes to paper, the build quality is outstanding and very easy to do, I've been playing with it for a while and I have yet to find a shape it cannot transition to 2D. It feels very solid and the function to keep the shape in place while you are drawing it works flawlessly, so it does not move a bit when transitioning. I've only had to adjust it a couple times to comply to different material's hardness but it was not hard.

I never bother to write reviews. Too busy. But this thing? Stone cold legit. Worth every penny. I have to do a cutout for a plank ceiling and a lamp is in the way. Simple effective and inexpensive.

This tool makes markings for cutting extremely easy for the do-it-yourselfer around the house. The contoured edge is allow for very tight cuts and extreme precision. Very easy to use and the added holiday packaging was a nice bonus.

This is a great little gadget. Easy locking device which work effectively and can be operated with one hand. Great for wood working template and when tiling curved areas. The contour tool was everything and well worth the money.

This contour gauge works extremely well! Seems like pretty good quality materials and it's a good size so you can measure contours on large items! I used it on trim and it picked up all of the contours of it very well. Also a nice bright color and easy to find amongst all our tools. Highly recommend.

While this is an ok reference tool for something like floor tile that you are not super concerned about a high level of accuracy, it is an ok product. The clamping mechanism is hard to adjust to where the individual fingers move smoothly to shape around a profile and lock down tight enough to hold in place. Also, the width of the teeth creates a fairly jagged profile instead of a smooth curve. See included photos.
