Pack of 8 x (Clear) Child Safety P-Clips for Vertical and Roller Blinds

Very pleased with these; they are much stronger than they looked in the photo; very well made and are perfect for keeping blind cords out of the way of small children. Arrived very quickly and a great price.

I bought these to replace one which snapped when I was installing blinds (hand tighten otherwise you may do the same!). Works a treat, and the internal curve at the top of the hook allows the ropes and chains to move smoothly. Came in the post within 24 hours, rather than the estimated 2 weeks which was also nice.

I was concerned for my grandchildren's safety in the conservatory of our current house. Vertical blinds had been fitted by a previous occupant, with many trailing loops of cord. I initially tied them up out of the way but this looked untidy and made using the blinds difficult. My son fitted a roller blind in his house and one of these hooks was supplied with it. That gave me the idea to look for something similar and I found these. As the conservatory is uPVC 'him indoors' didn't want screw fixings so I used medium command strips (also purchased from Amazon) to fix the hooks in the appropriate position. The result; safe and tidy blind cords giving me peace of mind and allowing full use of the vertical blinds. I managed to use one hook for both the opening and closing cord and the cord for adjusting the angle of the strips on each blind. I had to adjust the length of the adjustment cord but that was relatively easy with a small pair of pliers to open the metal joiner and cut off the superfluous cord. For so little cost, it was certainly worth the time and effort to help ensure the safety of the children.

Only works on cords not on thicker plastic bobble cords as they are too thick to fit in unless you cut bobble down to thickness of a cord. They appear to be well made and very strong.

Cheap and easy to attach, plus the clear finish means it will go with almost any window style/colour. What would lift this to 5 stars would be the inclusion of some double sided sticky pads to use instead of screws.

Very useful and easy to fit

I was very disappointed with these as it is not possible to fit the cord through them. You would have to remove the blind, undo the cord to reveal a loose end, and thread that through. Useless if the blind is already fitted.
