Rotadex Standa File Desktop Bookcase Flat-packed Maple Ref SF10

I have two of these, one at each end of my table to give me an easy access library of reference books. I have included a 12" ruler in the photograph to give a sense of scale. Storing basic paperbacks in these would seem inappropriate as they easily cope with some good sized books or A4 lever arch files.Quite pale in colour but I focus on their capabilities and they work excellently for what they were designed - highly recommended.

Smart, nice colour, but very heavyFills width of worktop

This item is rubbish!First of all, it's not "maple" but cheap chipboard with a white coating, which has indelible smears all over it.The various pieces have pre-drilled holes in them and it comes with a plastic bag containing a number of screws and other plastic pieces + a small screwdriver. Unfortunately there are no instructions as to how to fit the wretched thing together. I have spent time fiddling about with the various pieces and have come to the conclusion that to cap it all one of the fixing screws is missing. As far as I am concerned this has proved to be an expensive waste of money.

Lovely item and easy to assemble. I use on the kitchen side for my cookery books, it holds 13 of my large books.Anti slip adhesive feet stop it fro slipping and scratching the work surface. Would consider this item excellent value for the money.

Just taken delivery of the rotadex, the 5 pieces and packet of screws look fantastic, however I'm missing instructions on how to fit it together !

I was looking for a bookrack to stand on my worktop. It is impossible to decide if this is worth buying. The product description gives the weight & colour but NO INDICATION of the size.

I found this easy to assemble with no help, probably took about 10 minutes. It holds a number of files and both handier and more functional than having folders piled up on top of each other until they all fall over. The only disappointment was the screws which show at the back and are a bit ugly, but given that's the side that points at the guy I share an office with and not me, I'm not that bothered! I was a little worried that it might slide around easily on a wooden desk, so have attached some rubber feet on each corner (these aren't supplied, but are available from most DIY shops and I would imagine Amazon as well) and it doesn't move an inch.

Bigger than I thought, but nonetheless? It's so good job!
