Bamboo slide
My Kitchen Aid Mixer is very heavy and I put this slide under it and the mixer slides back and forth with ease. I’m very pleased with it!

The Kitchenaid Gadget You Really Need!
Reviewed Item: Ericair Bamboo Sliding Mat for Kitchenaid Mixer, Mixer Mover Slider Mat Pad Compatible with Kitchenaid Bowl Lift 5-8 Qt Stand MixerRetail Price: $21.99My Purchase Price: $0.00Review Date: 10/31/23This is the cook's one gadget you didn't know you needed until you had it.I have multiple Kitchenaid mixers. Not only do I have them for the kitchen, but I have a few in my lab, believe it or not.I took the opportunity to review the Ericair Bamboo Sliding Mat for Kitchenaid Mixer for one of my mixers that sits on Mt counter in the kitchen. This is my "go to" mixer when I want to bake breads, make pizza dough, bake cookies, etc. - you get the drift. As someone who has had surgery on her left dominate arm and has found it permanently weakened, pulling my Kitchenaid to the front if the counter is a major chore. Many times I make my husband do it for me if he wants me to bake because my arm is so weak, adding to it I have neuropathy and fibromyalgia I just don't have much strength. The Ericair Bamboo Sliding Mat for Kitchenaid Mixer arrived and it was a chore lifting my Kitchenaid to get the mat under it. However, once it was under it, sliding my Kitchenaid was so darn easy I could do it with my weak left hand. I just couldn't believe how easy it was to maneuver around my counter! Finally, I could go back to surprising my dear husband with treats once again! What a joy!The only thing I'm concerned with is the feet may come off eventually. They appear as though they are stuck on with some type of glue. However, there is a glue for everything and should a foot come off, I have an ape type of glue that should make it stick forever! To test this, I have been moving my Kitchenaid daily for two weeks all over the counter. So far, none of the feet have fallen off and I haven't seen any signs of damage on my granite countertop.Yes, to clean the edges requires removing your Kitchenaid. However, when I add flour I use one of the covers that allows flour to slide in without making a mess. Of course, one doesn't start the mixer on high speeds either. It is a job to remove it just as putting on the Ericair Bamboo Sliding Mat for Kitchenaid Mixer was, but if you use caution you don't have to do it every time.I'm giving the Ericair Bamboo Sliding Mat for Kitchenaid Mixer five out of five stars. You NEED this in your kitchen if you have a Kitchenaid.Full Disclosure: This review is based on my personal and unbiased opinion. Nice bamboo slider.
Appliance sliders, miniature versions of the furniture sliders for floors have been around for a while. I saw this version for a Kitchen Aide mixer, the newer ones have a wide teardrop shape now, and since the individual stick on sliders come off after a little while, i decided to try this one. It moves pretty easily and can support the weigh of the heaviest mixer with a full bowl of potatoes or dough. Highly recommended for ease of use.

Second best thing to have if you don’t have a custom cabinet
IYKYK (if you know, you know) pulling your heavy Kitchen Aid towards you on the counter can be a bear. It’s heavy and doesn’t slide. It’s more like trying to drag your dog into the groomers and they don’t want to go in. This little piece of wood makes it not such a chore. It makes me more willing to use it. There have been times I have not grated my cheese with the Kitchen Aid, or made whipping cream because I didn’t want to drag it across the counter. Being a short person this is more of an issue. It’s not as easy for us.As you can see in my photos, it’s not just a flat board. There is cut out section in the middle for the Kitchen Aid to be placed in. I am so glad I took a chance to try this! I have the Pro 6 qt and there is ample room on the board for it. I know there are 8 quart mixers out there but I don’t know if their base is the same size. It’s definitely big enough for a larger machine. It has a nice handle to grip onto to pull the mixer forward. The wood is a very smooth bamboo. Very little chance of getting a sliver and definitely easy to clean. Just take a damp cloth to wipe away any ingredients spilled on it. I am definitely very pleased with this simple board. I am considering getting one for my neighbor. I think it would make a lovely gift. I know I would have appreciated one!

Works if you have a newer model
This does not fit the lift-bowl styles that are older with a square base. Did not realize this when it was ordered. Otherwise, the sliders work well and the bamboo base is sturdy.
