Quality Construction
My grandsons (ages 11 and 13) are active in many sports, but have recently excelled in football. A coach suggested something like this (maybe this one) to help with coordination in catching pitches from the quarterback (I won't say which one had a few issues with drops). We'll have to wait until next year to see if this improves, but both enjoy tossing this up and catching on specific colors, or tossing back and forth. They were dropping about every 4 tosses, but soon were never missing. The construction is pretty solid though the material has a little give so you aren't going to have to worry about damanging things unless they give it a really hard toss. I would recommend.

FUN With A Purpose
I think this would surely be helpful to improve abilities to not only catch, but to respond/react, to calculate, and to create varying ways to use it for training or merely as a fun toy__Brightly colored, making it easily seen in the air or in the grass after it lands (in case it is missed) SMILES__Ability to play with this in different ways to increase the difficulty of catching. It can be thrown to make it go in a more straight pattern or else when it has a spin put on it, can spin to make catching more difficult__BOTTOM LINE: Very pleased with this training tool we plan to use as part of our sports arsenal to help improve skills. Yes, I would re-purchase

It’s fine
This does what it says it will do. It’s lightweight while being sturdy. It’s portable & fits easily in a backpack. It’s easy to toss & catch, but with regard to performance, it is not lightweight enough not to cause harm if it hits a head—don’t ask me how I know. I don’t know how effective it is related to the claims. I can’t imagine it having any versatility or being useful for anything beyond tossing. It was cheap enough, so I guess it doesn’t really matter if it’s not multipurpose!

Sturdy, Flexible, and Fun
This toy ended up being pretty fun. I do find it funny that they market this spinner thing as a "hand-eye coordination trainer". They really need a different name for marketing, but I have to say that the laser beam girl was a funny marketing tactic. I'm sure it didn't do what they thought, but ended up being positive anyway. The kids laughed a bit at it and it got them excited for it to come in so they could use their laser beam eyes to play the game.Kids and adults (< 10 yrs to > 40 yrs) in our family think this is pretty fun. The kids were excited and really got into the call-out-the-color concept. This thing is sturdy enough that I expect it to last a long time. We got the red, green, blue variety and the colors are bright and look good. The spinner arms fit well in just about anyone's hands. The arms of the spinner are pretty thick, but it still has enough give that it almost feels soft. It seems to be made of a type of foam, but isn't super soft and squishy like [insert major foam toy brand here]. There's enough give that we felt safe playing in the house. I would guess it would hurt a little if it hit you in the head, but not much.Altogether, a pretty fun toy. I'm guessing we'll take it to the park a lot in the future.

Not totally sure about this yet.
First off...it's made well. The build quality is obviously robust and tough...and will withstand the thousands of drops that are inevitable...so no issues there. But as far as the actual item...and how well it does what it purports to do - the jury is still out. Admittedly, my boys stood just 10 feet apart, called out the color AFTER they had let go of it...and were often throwing it with such a fast spin, that not even Superman could have seen (or caught) the right color. I did get them to move apart, and slow down...and say the color before throwing it...all of which helped. I will say that in the short time I watched them use it though, I am pretty confident I saw improvement in their results...often catching the right color...even when it was spinning very fast. I'm an old fart, so I didn't have as much success. But my goal was to get them something that would be fun...but at the same time would be helping them with both hand/eye coordination, as well as reflex speed...and I think this is going to be a useful tool. So overall, I like it...I just think we need to get better at using it properly.

Easy fun toy to creatively play with and improve your coordination
We have adults and older teens in the house. We all had fun with this..We spent about 40 minutes playing catch.. first just trying to catch any of the 3 arms..Then later, trying to catch one specific color (green was the easiest to spot, and blue was the hardest!),and then we ended up calling the color out (to catch) mid air which was a lot harder!Overall fun! Can be used in small indoor spaces, just as well as in large outdoor spaces.Soft to catch, but firm to grab. Perfect density really.Little kids would just be happy to be catching it period.I like toys that can be used creatively and just however the group decides to play. This is one of those!Well done.UPDATE: The kids started to get bored with it when we were playing catch with this, because we were spinning it when throwing and more often than not, the catch would not be great due to the level of difficulty. So it was cool to discover and realize that throwing it without spinning it much in the air made this game of catch and throw MUCH more fun because the challenge level was so much more appropriate! Now its JUST the right amount of challenge to be entertaining.

Agility and Eye hand coordination!
I ordered this for my 10yr old son to work on his eye/hand coordination. Item is solid and durable but light enough so that you dont have to worry about injury when tossing back and forth. Definitely more challenging then it appears but it is a fun safe way to improve response time/eye/hand coordination.

Poorly made
I bought this product to use with my PE class. After two days of use the paint was scrubbing off. There was a small tear starting to form on the green leg and it was torn off in my afternoon class.
