Wonderful large type and page design, easy to use. Content is helpful. I wish more books for us older folks were set up so we can find info quickly.

This is the best book I could find for a senior starting with a Chromebook, as such it has lots of good information.But as an instructional designer I really struggled with the layout and design of the publication. They squeeze too much on a page, the graphics are often small, and they do not design for the intended audience (seniors).

So, I got this book to help us learn about our Chromebook we received from Christmas. It covers secure software installations, including antivirus and video-viewing programs, with expert advice in layman terms. Navigating the web with Google Chrome becomes effortlessly clear, from incognito browsing to ad-blocker setup, while step-by-step tutorials on email connectivity and a detailed overview of useful apps enhance users' tech prowess, making it a go-to source for computer advice. I can go on an on but in short, I'm thankful for this user friendly guide.

By the time I got the book I pretty much knew everything about the Chromobook. Pretty easy to figure them out.

We gifted my dad apple products for the holidays along with guides and like the others this one is detailed. He was already learning more than I have about the laptop before we left. When I buy a computer I usually just start using it without a real guide and I'm proud that he is staying up to date with today's technology with these fantastic guides.

Even a senile fool like me learned something from this book. When my 15-yr old Acer laptop wouldn’t give up the blue screen of death, I ran in to Costco and grabbed the first cheap laptop I could find. It was a Chromebook! Had no clue there were more OS than Apple, Windows, and Linux. Oops! Now there’s Chrome. Had to order a book to get the thing to work. Can’t download Adobe Photoshop onto a Chrome OS computer, and that’s what I needed. I returned the book and computer. Both were good products, just not for my uses.

This came in handy for a couple I helped to trouble shoot an issue for. Would recommend. Works perfectly with the simplicity of the Chromebook OS.
