I don't usually write reviews, but having had difficulty figuring out which toner cartridge was a good deal and didn't suck I figured I would say something about the one I tried. Finding an OEM cartridge is expensive and now difficult since Samsung sold off it's printers to HP.Anyway, I bought this one, unboxed it (it was sealed in a bag with protective plastic covers on the cartridge roller), and popped it into the printer per the instructions. The family has been using it for a few weeks without issue. I've noticed that it doesn't print smooth and solid blacks in large blocks (or in photos), but for text it works great.I'm happy with the purchase, it is a good value, and works well for what I needed it for. Would purchase again.

Great product, but...
I bought this toner to be my backup when my other toner (from the same company) runs out. So, I installed my backup toner first and it printed with 'smudches' (every 2 inches) on the left side margin. I thought maybe my printer had a problem, so I replaced this toner cartridge with the one I had just bought and it worked just fine.So, it turns out that my older unused toner cartridge (from the same company) was defective! Well, at least there is nothing wrong with my printer. Now I don't have a backup anymore.
