Great subwoofer that compliments my Yamaha HS50m perfectly
There doesn’t seem to be many reviews for this so I thought I would leave a quick one of my own.I’ve been eyeing this up for some time. I have a pair of HS50m’s in my studio/ office and they do lack the lower end I need for my mainly music listening these days.Previously I used Rokit 8’s to fill the low end gap but as I’ve moved house recently I don’t have the room for them so instead I went for this sub to accompany the Yamaha monitorsI’m really happy I did. This thing has sooo much bass on tap and clean, articulate, punchy, deep bass at that. I’ve got it at about 10’clock and that is easily enough. It has completely filled that gap in sound from the HS50m’s that cover off the mids and highs. It took me all of 5 mins to setup an integrate into my existing rig.It is expensive, but it’s well built, got plenty of features, connectivity and sounds great. You get what you pay for with this unit.

Hard to set up frequency cut off and power.
While it probably is a very good subwoofer, I found it hard to set up properly with my monitors due to lack of proper explanations on how to configure low and hi cutoff and the power. For a studio, it lacks a bypass pedal. It s probably a good choice for a home cinema or for someone with all the tools to configure the subwoofer for a balanced - flat frequency- sound system.
