Great Price, Easy Assembly, Study Design, Fits all boards (SUP to Shortboards)
I am so happy I ordered this rack from Steve's Rack Shack! I spent some time researching various options and this rack is absolutely the best value, offering the most amount of SUP board storage in a freestanding rack made from wood that is a simple and reliable design. I live about 50 ft from the ocean and everything metal rusts immediately from the salt air. With this wooden rack, I never have to worry about this rack rusting or damaging my boards. Out of the box, the assembly was so easy, took less than 5 minutes! Literally, 12 screws and then sliding the 3 wood trestles into place in the precut uprights. The rack's wood frame is thick & good quality, and very sturdy when assembled. It is also light enough that one person can easy move it anywhere. Moreover, I like the modular design because if I ever need to disassemble the rack to move or store it, it should collapse down easily and not take up much space. I was able to fit my 2x 10'0" SUPS, 7'0" SUP, and 7'0" funboard in the slats as well as pile on one of my wavestorms and my 6'0" biscuit. The rack is great quality, and the foam pads on each rack arm definitely hold the boards in place safely and securely. I would recommend this freestanding rack to anyone who needs one!

Just got my rack and put this bad boy together. Love everything about this rack and the brand. The packaging was neat and simple Iike opening an iPhone package. Super easy to put together. Just looking at my rack makes me want to buy more boards. The owner is super responsive and customer service is top notch! He will do what it takes to make you satisfied.I got two!!!! My bro wants one but I can’t seem to let it go.

Not good for outdoors
While this might work outside in other parts of the country, this rack didn't last 2 months outside in Central Florida. Warped and broken down from relatively normal (for here at least) exposure to heat and rain.

Needs more space between boards
Simple design and goes together very easily. There needs to be more space between each set of arms so that the fins on each board don't touch each other. I will have to put the base on top of some pavers to get extra room on the bottom and flip the top board upside down with the fin up. I should have sprung for a more expensive rack with adjustable arms.

High quality SUP Rack
I was looking for a decent outdoor wood rack that would hold 4 stand up paddle boards easily, and during my search I found that Steve's Rack Shack had great reviews on their standard board racks, and I liked the look of them, so I reached out. Steve responded personally within minutes and told me that he would be producing a 4 board SUP rack soon and he even included a picture of the prototype. He then said that he would let me know when it was in production, and when it would be available on Amazon for purchase. About a month later Steve sent me a link and I made my purchase. I've now been using my SUP rack for over a month and I love it. It is compact, yet easily fits four decent sized SUPs, and is made of high quality materials.

Strong and easy to assemble
Set up happened lickety-split. Easy to assemble. I have mine outside so I don’t think it will last long as the weather will degrade it. But I knew I was getting into. Solid construction. Big fan.

It’s all you need for a stand alone
More than I wanted to spend BUT..... it’s awesome. We’ve invested WAY too much in our boards to not have a great way to store. We’ve moved a lot and have done wall and pulley system and in new house needed a stand alone. I put together by myself (wife) and was able to get the 12’ BOTE off the lawn. We have more boards we will stack once we get everything unpacked. Very stable and all you need is a screwdriver and rubber mallet to assemble. Always love supporting American made local businesses and this is a company we will continue to purchase from now that we see the quality. Also delivered within 4 days of our order and it was across the country.

Not the best choice for inflatable SUPs
It’s easy to assemble and I think it might work great for hardside SUPs - but the inflatable SUPs don’t stack well because the fins hit and it’s tough to get them in and out.
