Amazing product! Cleared up my water and all the junk in my tank. I had a bad algae problem that was taking over my whole aquarium, it turned all of my plants gray and it was almost impossible to remove from the glass walls. I could see a dramatic difference on day three and after a month with the orb there was no new algae growth and all the old junk wiped off the glass with ease. My aquarium looks healthy and full of color again and my water is crystal clear. Highly recommend this and grateful it exists!

UPDATE:a week later the fish tank water is crystal clear. Therefore, it can be said that product worked and so I am increasing the 3 stars to 5 stars.bit disappointed because it looks like the balls contain charcoal for the fish tank filter canisters.it looks like the balls can be reused but only if you can keep them attached to the fish tank glass as they have a tendency to disconnect and swim on the surface of the water.well, I will give it a tryThe only reason I gave three stars is that the ball containers can be opened and filled up with preferred material for tank filtration

Neat idea but it's better to go more expensive and buy a UV sterilizer. This thing has too much debris of it's black powder that floats around which would kill and harm your fish. Instructions say do not eat and to watch out for the black powder, if it isnt safe for humans how would this be even remotely safe for your fishes. Opening the packages are also the worse as all of the powder poofs in your face and if you ever inhale you'll get this all in your nostril, so dont even bother WATCHING OUT for the black powder because youre getting it all over you as soon as you open it. Do not buy, may clean your tank but you run HIGH risks of killing your fishes. This might also be why barely anyone knows of this product to this day.

Purchased a while back so figured I give it a review. At first I was hesitant with it being a new product and all so I didn't really think it would work. I used it on a small landscape area I have out front which has a fountain and a wishing well. My wife kept nagging at me to clean up the water for weeks since it was all murky from the Cali sun. Came across this ball and thought why not, it's worth a shot. To my surprise this thing worked wonders on that little area and after about a week I could clearly see through the bottom. I even discovered some tiny fish in there. Overall I say its a good product and worked for me.

I'm very skeptical of this product so far. I really want this to work. It's placed near a fast moving water source. So far Not much improvement to my tank at all. I'll keep this updated as I wait for the recommended days before I see an improvement. I have a 10 gal. fresh water planted tank.It's about 14 days. No change. Nothing. It doesn't work at all for me. Returning this thing. Very disappointed.

I had some really hardy tetras for a while now, even with the algae getting out of control, nothing seemed to kill them. I ordered these orbs, then found some shrimp that we're supposed to clean the algae, and wanted to return the orbs. Well, the shrimp sucked, so I decided to use the orbs. Within 24hrs, ALL my FISH and SHRIMP died. Probably too late to get a refund, but I suggest no one buys these....

Two merits about this product:1. it works just like a ultra violet light but it doesn’t need electricity. Therefore it’s actually cheaper in long run;2. It lasts much longer than chemicals.3. Very easy to apply at no extra costOne minor thing which I don’t like is the black powder when opening the bag. Granted the instruction mentioned it but I think the manufacturer can work on it a bit more. Not a big deal anyway.Overall, it's a great product and quite impressive at this price !
