Fine Elements 4-in-1 Air Cooler

Our main irritation is the very loud "Beep" noise that it makes whenever your press a button on it. We bought this to use in a warm bedroom overnight, so the last thing we want is a loud "Beep" noise every time we turn it on/off or select a function. We were looking to purchase another one for another room, but the "Beep" noise is making us look elsewhere. It cools the room OK - providing you put BOTH ice packs in the water tray (not just the 1 as advised). We'd certainly turn the "Beep" off if its possible, so if anyone knows how to do this, please get in touch!

Dropped our 12x14 ft bedroom by a couple of degrees at best, filled full of icepack and chilled water, took room from 28 to 26 . We now use at white noise for baby.It's ok and helped when it was hot, maybe it will do us better in the cold as it has a heater too. In hindsight I would ofspent the extra and bought a proper mobile air con for an extra £150

Working well in this very hot weather keeps the bedroom cool enough for sleeping.

Took long time to leave review as I wanted to check both cooling and heating functionality. Worked fine initially in terms of cooling or using fan on its own. However heating functionality is not at allllll good. For the first time i used heater (I have operated heating only after reading instructions thoroughly) and it had blown away!! I have literally seen sparks coming out of the machine with which the electricity in my flat had tripped off. After this incident, it has completely stopped working which is very irritating. I would NOT recommend this to anyone...very disappointed!

Good piece of equipment but not as cool as needed to be

My product arrived and upon unpacking it found that the case was misaligned. Upon plugging in and switching on I found that the unit had four main faults with its functions. With the product being totally useless I contacted the supplier and they agreed to send a replacement unit to me which arrived in a couple of days. All appeared well with this new unit until I tried the cool function, which I found didn't work. The cooling system requires water to be put into a tank at the bottom of the machine which when required is pumped up to the top of the machine where it drizzles down webbing to the tank again. The problem was that the pump was not pumping and the sensor wouldn't detect any water even though the tank was over half full. I then contacted the suppliers again and they said they would organise collection of the unit and refund me in full. Overall my experience of this unit was very disappointing.

Great lil device which when used with freezer blocks is cool and it's night mode meant baby not awoken and soothed. I don't comprehend the negative reviews - a product u love or hate and we love it - much cheaper than AV and does what it says on the tin (as they say)

There would be many things to commend this unit on were it not for one fundamental flaw: it doesn't cool a room. It makes you wonder what kind of tests the designers carried out before they decided it was a good idea to release the product. Maybe they sat one metre away from the unit, felt a bit of airflow and concluded that this was enough to merit releasing it? Anyway, as others appear to have found, the unit fails to cool a room to any noticeable degree, even if you chuck loads of ice into the water tray (I put in two ice cube trays' worth).Shame, but that's the way it goes sometimes. I expect the makers of this unit won't get many sales. Back to the drawing board eh, boys and girls?
