Great movie
Definitely has trigger warnings, wouldn't suggest for anyone with a hard core drug recovered past.

Hidden gem
I had never even heard of this film until I noticed the Paradise City series on Prime. I started watching the series first, then got hooked and decided to pause and watch American Satan first. I absolutely loved the music in both the movie and the series. Seems to be a dying artform these days. It's the type of music that reminds us of the demons we all have battled at some point or another in our lives, yet also lifts us up. If you're a fan of hard rock, give this and the series that follows a shot. Makes me really miss the 80s and 90s!

Ridiculous and Fun all at once
If you’re not a fan of this kind of movie, you won’t like it.But, you also probably won’t find it if you’re not a fan of Andy Biersack, Remington Leith, anyone else in the film or their music. The tale is one that’s been told before, and the acting isn’t A+ by far. For its genre and what it is, I was highly entertained. You DO need to pay attention for some subtle bits. And of course, the soundtrack is killer. So for eye and ear candy this gets an A+ from me. I’ve watched it a good ten times so far

The only DVD format of this fine movie available in the US
This review is more about the DVD format rather than the movie, which, by the way is an excellent update of an age-old story: If you make a deal with the Devil, there's always a price to be paid. This movie is only available on Blu-Ray, NOT DVD, in the US. With that said (I don't have a Blu-Ray player), I got a perfectly good DVD from an Amazon seller in Australia. He assured me that it would play on my USA compliant DVD player, and it did . So if you need this movie in DVD format, don't hesitate to buy it from the Australian seller - it is compliant for Australian DVD's but will play on USA DVD's as well.

Amazing Movie
New favorite movie, it has so many great artists and actors/actresses. They did a great job portraying how Hollyood literally takes the souls of individuals who want to become something bigger than themselves. They lose themselves trying to go after what they love, but they never stray apart. It also shows you the reality of rock stars getting hooked on dangerous substances and losing everything or people they love. Wish I could meet Andrew in person, he seems so genuine.

Satan, sex, drugs and rock and roll!
Good Faustian drama in my opinion.

Awesome movie for metal lovers!
I went to see this movie in theater and had to buy it when it came out on DVD. It's an absolute must - watch for any rock/metal fans out there, young and old alike. There's really something for everyone included, and some fun easter eggs hidden throughout - even one if you're a fan of Days of our Lives like my sister and I. Make sure to read all of the quotes in the intro and outro, they actually make the movie even more intriguing, especially if you watch it twice. Probably not a good movie for people who aren't interested in the music.

Dark, sexy, and wicked
I'm a big Andy Biersack fan and this movie is a fun, dark, sexy romp. The bordello scene is steamy hot! I can't wait to watch Paradise City to see the story continue.
