Unfortunately, my daughter and I were really excited about using this product for an upcoming event. When we went to open it with the intent of practicing a few days, it would not even start. We only tried batteries straight out of packaged new batteries. Bummer we don’t get to use it for the event and I have to add another errand to my list to return a broken one to get a new oneor return it to get a refund for a nonfunctioning product. Super disappointed. Should have listened to the other reviews on this exact issue more carefully. Hope this is helpful to others.

This product is a lot of fun for the little girls but I was very disappointed when it arrived with an opened package. You could tell that someone had obviously returned the product because the package had been ripped open (jagged) and shipped to me. The seller could have at least repackaged the product or sealed it in a different clear bag. I'm not sure if all of the pieces are there or not.

The product comes in a clear plastic ugly bag, not good at all , don’t understand why doesn’t come in a box!!

I have mixed feelings about this tool. The design of this tool has integrated some safety features such as rounded edges, non-toxic materials and a basic mechanism that prevents hair from getting tangled or caught. However, this braiding tool doesn’t work on all hair types. It goes along with straight hair but not the curly hair. Also, the braiding style created by this tool is actually the ‘thread braid’, which has embroidery floss involved in braiding, aka hair wrap. Only 3 colors given in this kit, may grab the accessory part somewhere else to add more varieties. Overall speaking, this is a fun tool that creates hair-wrap for the enthusiasts. If you’re looking for a more complex braid style such as fishtail braid, then you may need to consider something else.
