Different Feel - Great Sound
This review is for the H2O Audio Snow PRO Bone Conduction Bluetooth Open Ear Headset with MP3 Player - Waterproof Multi-Sport Headphones for Skiing, Snowboarding, Cross Country Skiing - White.I didn't know what to think when I got these. I was looking for something that I could use without having to worry about prolonged use of uncomfortable ear buds. These take some getting used too if you've not tried this type of headset before. Not a bad thing, just for awareness.I must say, the sound was surprising. The music sounds clear and close, without being overwhelming and claustrophobic. I was testing these out with one of my kids. sitting next to each other with the volume up I couldn't hear the music when they were using them. I definitely like this feature. We were also able to carry on a conversation. An FYI for anyone looking for something to shut out the world around them. One of my other kids tried the headset and they liked the sound. Unfortunately the headset didn't fit them well.Overall, easy to pair, good sound, keeps your audio private.

Great Sound
I have to say that I am impressed with how easy this headset was to connect to my phone and how good the sound was. I like that not only is the sound great and only you can hear it, but it leaves your sense of hearing completely open so you can be fully aware of what’s happening around you. The buttons are a little difficult to push, and if you have gloves on there is no way you will be able to push them, though everything can be done from your phone. You can download music and podcasts using the app as well, so you don’t even need your phone, which is great if you are swimming. There is a lot to love about this headset, but if you have a large head be aware that these may not fit you comfortably. This headset is not adjustable and that may be an issue for some people. However, if you have a small head, they include a strap to help make these fit more securely. I love that these can be used in the water and there is no need to worry about getting them wet or connecting to Bluetooth (if you download your music/podcast).I am very impressed with how easy this headset is to use and operate. It gets a solid 5 stars from me.

Really Interesting to Use - Does Exactly What It Says - Takes Some Getting Used To
If you're accustomed to traditional bluetooth earbuds, whether it's the AirPod style or inside the ear style, switching to these bone conduction style headphones can be a bit of an adjustment.I'd say the experience is overwhelmingly positive, but it does take some getting used to.The best thing about this style of headset is that you can hear your music, but others can't. It's shockingly effective and even at higher volumes, you can enjoy your music or podcast without disturbing others. It works best in a quiet environment like an office as it does not isolate you from outside noise at all. That's the other good thing about them - they leave your ears open to hear your environment. This is a HUGE safety feature if you're going to enjoy music or podcasts while running or cycling outside. Even earbuds turned down to a low volume effectively block out surrounding noise, so you won't be able to hear people walking up on you and you definitely won't be able to hear most electric vehicles at all.Having waterproof, sweatproof headphones like these that allow you to enjoy your music and keep your ears open is an important option. If you're looking for the best sounding headphones, however, and you don't need those considerations specifically, then these wouldn't be the best fit.Battery life was just ok. When powering on, it would say that the battery was relatively full, but it seemed to deplete more quickly than I expected. It's not a deal breaker, but the only other thing that was unusual was the proprietary charging cord. I understand why they use it as these are meant for swimming and using a traditional port, even one with a rubber gasket, can let moisture in. With their unique charging cable, it charges by touch, so there's no way for moisture to get in anywhere. The downside is, of course, that if you lose that cable, you'd have to replace it with that exact one or you won't be able to use your headset at all.Overall, if this fits your unique needs, it's a great pick. It fits a unique niche in the market and does it extremely well!

Very good
These are great headphones. I've been testing bone conduction sets for the last five years or so, and I feel the technology has finally reached the point at which it can compete on a level playing field with regular earphones. The sound quality isn't *quite* as good - the bass is still a little thin - but the benefits of the open ear tech now make up for any slight drawbacks in sound quality.I'm baffled by the marketing of these headphones though. They're aimed at skiers and snowboarders, but having worn bone conduction earphones while wearing hats I know that the last thing you want to do while wearing these things is put on a helmet. I don't have a helmet to test them with right now, but there's nothing about the design that would lead me to believe they've been tailored for helmet use. My feeling is that the audio emitting pads that are supposed to sit just in front of your ear around your cheekbones would want to move every time you turned your head.I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. In any case these things are perfectly good for regular wear without a helmet. They sit comfortably on my head without compression, and the sound comes through loud and clear. For the price I'm happy to recommend them.

Awesome headphones
I got these for winter sports use and that was a good call. They look cool, they're very durable and they deliver some seriously *loud* music. The battery life isn't world beating but given the other upsides they deliver no big deal. They're also surprisingly comfortable--I sometimes forget I have them on and that never happens with earbuds or over the ear headphones. One gripe is the proprietary charger connection--that means you better not lose the charger. These minor issues aside they're great headphones. Highly recommended!
