Bought this (on my wife's instruction) for the new sun room conservatory. She assembled it herself (that's a first). Feels very solid - some floor standing lamps have a loose vertical tube but this, although screwed together, is nicely tight and rigid. A bit brash / boudoir when alight, but that's her taste. In the sun room context it looks great and brightens it up on winter evenings.
