Madd CappPuzzles - I AM Lion - 550 Pieces - Animal Shaped Jigsaw Puzzle

This was the hardest puzzle I have ever tried to do. It is actually in the round, or sort of. Never could get the entire outside pieces together because they did not connect; they just sort of fit. If the picture actually had the size of the pieces shown it would have been helpful. My family worked on it for four months and never finished it. Got the ears, nose, chin, and eyes almost finished. Several pieces could fit in several different places. We had to hold them up to the light to see if any light shown through. If so, it wasn't the right fit. I would try another one if they improved on the picture with the correct pieces shown and didn't have like pieces fitting into several different spots.

I was so excited about this puzzle. It looked like it would be gorgeous and I thought it was cool that it was outlined in the shape of a tiger face. However, the image is a bit too large (scaled up so it isn't crisp) making it difficult to discern the picture as a guide. I’ve spent two evenings on this and even getting the edges together has proved difficult. So at this disappointing point, I decided to write this review instead.

Second mad cap I’ve done. I did I am wolf, finished puzzle was nice pieces locked in nicely. I hate to give I am tiger a bad review but I was missing pieces. The puzzle is beautiful difficult but I like a challenge. I am going to get in touch and see if they send a replacement.

The puzzle looked cute, but unfortunately about half of the pieces were bent. It makes it nearly impossible to put together an already difficult puzzle. Because of the bending, piece won't fit where they belong, and they seem to fit better in the 'wrong' spot. Frustrating! I will not be buying this brand again.

It's not easy to assemble but if you are looking for a challenge that is a good thing. It took my dad a long time to put this puzzle together.

Loved the puzzle. Sent it to my mom for a gift and she was very frustrated. The outside pieces don’t lock together to kept coming apart while trying to do this very difficult puzzle. She finally gave up. I was very disappointed because I loved the beautiful choices and would have purchased more but not now.

Solved it in 4 days with intermediate puzzle skill level. When pieces fit you know it. The quality of the pieces is excellent and the cut of the pieces is fabulous, varied and thought provoking. Took all of my advanced beginner puzzle solving techniques to complete but it feels very gratifying knowing the bad reviews were very, very wrong. Excellent gift.

Very challenging puzzle. The edge pieces don’t fit together like a traditional puzzle which makes it even more difficult. I bought this for a family project, but ended up doing it all on my own. I will be gluing this puzzle together. It was a fun challenge.

If you're looking for a challenge then pick one of these puzzles. It's not easy and took us several days to complete but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The shape means it can't be constructed as normal by doing the edges first which adds to the challenge and you really have to get your eye in to spot the different tones of his stripes. I bought it for my 12 year old but he soon gave up as too much of a challenge. The eyes are the easiest bits if you want your children to join in initially.

This puzzle was too hard - lots of pieces are the same colour (white or black) and it’s very difficult to determine if 2 pieces that seem to fit together are actually right. I tried every combination of black pieces in the ears and the last black piece never fit.. puzzles are supposed to be fun - this was not fun so I quit.

This puzzle is not fun! Not worth buying. We bought the wolf which was easier to do, pieces actually fitted together. With the panda, all the pieces are the same shape and you can never know if its fit or not. They kinda fit but not really so you’re always unsure. Lots of damaged pieces too (bend corner pieces) for a puzzle of 30$ its not worth the purchase. Try another animal

Beautiful puzzle! Loved it! Not very easy, puzzle piece shapes aren’t regular so it can be tricky, but that’s the fun! Great image/colour/cut, awesome!
