Filter arrived. Paper type filter with foam filter around the outside as was the original. Looked of good quality, installed normally. Appears to be working fine. 4 stars based on not being priced much below price of John Deere filter from dealer.

Fit my JD-LX176 perfectly
I liked the fact that it fit perfectly and was easy to install. I was skeptical because it was not made as well as the original that I replaced. But it seems to work fine.
