I have great expectations with this Silicone Scar Gel. I am currently applying this gel on my old scars - some of which very noticeable.I have only been using it for two days, and following the directions. I do see some beginning positive results.Here is how I use it. I first press down on the plunger a couple of times, as I want only a very small amount on the rollers, so it will spread smoothly and evenly on the scar. Then apply the gel on the scar first, in a circular motion, then up and down, and then sideways. I also use a very firm motion when applying as I want to be sure the gel is thoroughly saturating the scar.I want to also be sure while applying that the scar/skin becomes slightly red and warm, for better circulation and absorption of the gel deep into the scar/skin itself.I do see so far, a slight decrease/shrinkage in the scar tissue, which is a good sign the gel is working like it should.I am also trying this product on some freckles, and sun/age spots to see if they will lighten up as well.Overall, I like this product and plan to keep using it going forward.

Prior to getting this product I had tried the scar tape on my scars. But I was having a hard time applying the tape to a scar on the top of my back. This scar roller was so easy to use and I was able to apply it on my back without help. Since using it I’ve noticed my scar begin to lighten. I plan to continue using it to see how much of the scar will disappear.

I have personally used this for a surgical facial scar and an arm laceration that was the result of a fall. I have had great results with both wounds and I am recommending it to my patients.First - The Brush Applicator: This is so innovative in that it allows the silicone to reach all the surface tissue of the healing scar. The soft brush bristles make this so easy, especially if the scar is still tender.Second - The Silicone Consistency: We have been using silicone for scar care for years because nothing works better. The silicone in Scar Science feels like a high end moisturizer. It goes on smooth and is not greasy or tacky like some other silicone products.Third - The Push Button Dispenser: To use the gel you push the bottom button and the gel comes right onto the brush. I love that I can apply without touching the gel with my hands.It is important to use any silicone product consistently for about 8 weeks for newly healed wounds and even longer for older scars. The worse. Rate a big fat 0. All the silicone came out in almost 1 go. Empty. Not even 2 days. Disappointed beyond words. Money wasted. Should have listened to the reviews but I was thinking just maybe they didn’t folllw the instructions. Boy was i wrong. Save your money.

Very easy to use and apply. Nice, velvety feel. Dries quickly with no residue. I like the container a lot. The click action is pretty cool. The little applicator balls make it easy you apply and massage for 30 sec. Will try to remember to update as I see if it actually removes small scars from my daughter's face.

Been using for past two weeks. Only see subtle fading but I'm sure after couple more weeks I will see more of a change. It's not sticky not does it have a scent which is great.
