For the price, this is a great commerical insect/bug/mosquito etc killer. It has 2 strong bars of violet light that attract the pests and a metalic grid with electrical power flowing through which zaps them. I only had one gripe and that is that the electric cable is too short for the unit to be placed free standing unless you have somewhere flat and level close to your socket or are using an electic extension cable which is why I only give "easy to install" a 3 star rating compared to 5 for all the others. But even so, for just under £24 you really can't go wrong with this IMHO.

Nice works really well I would and have recommended this item to people. Just take it out of box and plug in.

Ok so this product is really good, the UV attraction, the fly zapping the whole system works properly.It is solid and well put together there is however one problem and that is the power lead is only 90 cm long. This is ridiculously short and think about it unless you are installing this right over the power socket 90 cm isn't really going to work.In fact I would call this short lead a major design flaw although an easily fixed one. (extension cord.)You have been warned if you are going to buy this product you may add an extension lead to you basket.

We had hoped that this would zap the flies in our kitchen as we have an Aga and have the doors and windows open all day. However, it is next to useless in the daytime. More effective at night, but only if you have the lights off, which means you aren't in the kitchen, which means the flies wouldn't have bothered you anyway! Back to using gallons of Raid!!!

Very disappointed in packaging. The electricity plug was on top of the grill. Something heavy must have been on top of the package as the plug pushed the grill inwards. I plugged the product into the wall and the fuse blew! The grill had been pushed up against the contact point. I would suggest inserting a polystyrene protector inside the package to prevent transit damage or alternatively keep the plug away from the grill.

The day it arrived i plugged it in.got 5 flys.however my dog went into panic when it was on so had to turn off after reading internet says lots get stressed with them because of noise it makeswell mine did!! .im only going to use when dogs out his walksBut it is great just what i neededJust a pity i cant use it muchBut would recommend to peopleDepending on there dog

Does exactly what it says. Sounds like Chinese New Year with fire crackers sometimes, but you get use to it, as clearly it does the job of attracting flies, mosquitoes, gnats etc, especially at night when no other lights are on

This kills flies especially larger ones but smaller insects seem to evade it. You will know when it works because it makes a loud pop. I find it comforting to know it is working but others may find it annoying.
