Don’t bother
Threw them all out. It was advertised as reusable if you pull the pin. Just put the pin back in. Wanted to be sure it worked, because I was giving the other two to my daughters. I pulled one of the pins and it would NOT STOP, even when pin went back in. Ear splitting noise, sure, but now, I’m pretty sure I damaged my hearing while I tried to disarm it. Ended up breaking it underfoot to get it open enough to remove the battery. Don’t bother. Buy the more expensive brand if you want this type of security. (I tried it with another one of them, to make sure it wasn’t just a dud that I opened first. Same deal. This time I had my foot ready and big earphones protecting my ears.)

Wow! These are LOUD!
Cover both your ears. With your third hand cover the speaker. With your fourth, pull the strap and quickly replace the pin before the chirping drills thru your hands to your eardrum and thru that as well.Then never "test" it out again for at least another year unless you need it (hopefully you never will).IF YOU LOSE THE PIN: The sound is unbearable! THROW the device AWAY from you and get out of there. It has likely served its purpose at that point anyway.

Don’t buy this brand
I bought less than two weeks ago. Already threw one away that no longer works. Carried this around on my walks for two weeks feeling secure I had a safety device. Decided to show a friend how it works - well it didn’t work! I plan on buying another device - but not this brand.

GREAT PRODUCT FOR SAFETY IN URBAN AND RURAL AREAS!
While I don't live in a high crime urban area, I think your product is a great idea for women, like me, in rural areas. Basically, I live in the forest, and we have had a bear sightings this summer so, I bought bear spray, but realized that the container was large and awkward to carry while hiking. Then I did research, and realized that bears will run when they encounter loud noises, so this alarm is compact and much easier to carry while out and about. It gives me, and my fellow hikers a sense of security wherever we go. BRAVO, on this product!

Only works one time!
Bought them for stocking stuffer for the females in my family. Once you pull the pin out it and put back in, it breaks off. Exchanged for a new set. Same thing. I returned instead or replacing the second time. Don't waste your money.

It does what it says it will do.
Love the size of alarm and the decibel at which it sounds. It's very loud and will definitely get someone's attention if pulled. I was worried that the pin would come out easily but no it's just right, no accidental triggering of the alatm.

great value
I tested each one and all have a piercing squeal - just what is needed, but hope it never is. The size & weight are great so it hangs on a purse or belt loop without weighing it down. I could probably go 5 stars but it hasn't been fully tested and if it saves my/my daughters' life, it will deserve a 10!
