I was undecided which Govee floor standing RGB light to go for as they have a few and in the end I frivolously bought the Govee RGBIC Cylinder Floor Lamp. Whilst it's quite expensive, after having used this for some time, I would say it's reasonable value for what it is and I'm very happy with my purchase.The lamp was very easy to put together and only took a few minutes. Once it's assembled, it's a very sturdy floor lamp and has a good solid weighted base. The mains power lead is also quite long too which helps when deciding where to position it.The lamp is supported from within the Govee app which for anyone who doesn't know, is a well polished feature rich app which supports all their products (rather than having lots of poor apps for random inferior RGB lights, this is a great app especially if you have multiple Govee products). There are plenty of features within the app for tweaking this lamp and the results look very impressive. Overall I'd say it's very bright, it has some excellent animated presets which look fantastic. Also, once you've set it up to your liking, there's a power button on the device if you want to manually operate it, however I've never used the physical button ever. As it's a smart lamp, you can set timers within the app for the light to come on and go off at specific times etc. but like the other Govee lights, it is also easy to incorporate within Home Assistant which is worth a mention and is what I use to switch it on/off when entering the room.I have quite a few Govee products now and It's also worth mentioning that I've liaised with Govee customer support regarding one of their other products and I think they do provide outstanding customer service. Within the world of smart lighting and other smart devices, Govee is clearly one of, if not the market leader!Whilst this device is not cheap, you get a quality product, you get a well thought-out, well developed and feature rich app and if ever needed, you get exceptional customer support. If you're in the market for a floor standing lamp with very funky RGB, look no further - highly recommended!

A beautiful lamp. Very pretty colours. It's nice and tall and easy to use. It has a remote control for easy use. I would recommend this.

I have this lamp positioned behind my cuddle chair in my Reading Room & I have it switched on every evening for a few hours, it’s a great mood light for when I’m using the computer, or a reading light when I’m sat on my cuddle chair relaxing with a good book.I love all the themes, I like to have a different theme running each night whilst I’m using the computer, but when I’m reading I tend to use the Illumination setting to select the right light for the occasion - brighter lighting for smaller print books, or less blue light for when I’m not feeling too great.I use the time feature every night - it’s set to come on (to the last setting used) at 20:00 & go off at 23:59, so if I am reading or using the computer I know it’s midnight because the mood lighting has gone off, so I should probably go to bed!I can’t say whether the voice control works, as I only have Apple HomePods & Apple devices, & Govee is not compatible with Apple Home as yet, but it definitely works with the Govee App on my iPhone, iPad Pro & iMac, they all work reliably & I have not had any connectivity issues thus far.I have played about with creating scenes on the App & they do work well, I am not very creative, so my attempts were pretty basic, but they worked nonetheless.I love the light, I would definitely buy more Govve products if they were compatible with Apple Home, but at this time they don’t seem to use Thread which is the system that Apple uses on their Home settings.I highly recommend this Govee lamp to people who want a versatile Smart lamp, obviously check your Smart Home devices, as some are not compatible, like Apple (I knew this when I purchased it, but I still wanted it because I really wanted a light that has timers & variable settings that I can use, depending on my mood at the time - this lamp does exactly that, I do not need it to be voice controlled as I don’t use any voice control lights in my house anyway.

It's the best lamp you'll ever buy and the app is super easy to setup and use too.

This lamp was perfect for the room, Has a lovely warm light and work perfectly with Alexa.

I really like Govee lights as they work without a hub making it much less hassle but this lamp was so customisable compared to the other lights I’ve purchased from them mainly because of the 360 surface you can turn it into a lava lamp or pretty much whatever you want. Also the manual power button is great because who has their phone on them all the time
