Tent Lookout with 2-Seat Chair for Photography

Just what I was looking for. Sturdy yet light enough to carry around, backpack style carry case very comfortable, plenty of padding on the straps. Very easy to put up and pack away. After my first outing with it in the woods doing some photography, can say reasonably comfortable, but would def recommend the two person hide as gives you room to move about and stow some gear.Seems to do the job as a hide, definitely more wildlife seen compared to sitting on a log, and far more comfortable!All in all, very pleased and would strongly recommend.Update: After some use would say still pleased, some stitching on one of the straps has needed attention but soon fixed. If you have a more than a small bum I would suggest this double chair hide as there isn't much room, don't buy this for two people!

I was initially very pleased with the purchase and used it about half a dozen times on my patio. However the Mk1 model which is what is on sale here has plastic brackets that hold the seating tubes together...the central one broke causing me injury and some equipment breakage. The company that supplied the hide were brilliant and explained that there was a Mk2 that had replaced the brackets with metal ones (although the manufacturers site is specifying "thicker plastic parts", after realising this was a common issue. They arranged a swap out but unfortunately a Mk1 hide was shipped out again. On opening and inspecting it, we took some photographs which showed that even before use, the central plastic seat bracket was badly cracked and two of the plastic feet were already broken.I really want this product to work as it is the perfect size and weight, and the seller has been extremely helpful with excellent customer service, but make sure you ask for the newer version with stronger brackets. If it were not for the bracket failure I would give the Mk1 4 stars with the only other downside being the lack of a zip up flap on the rear window which means you can get the wind whistling down your neck (which I hear is resolved on the Mk2). Other than those issues, it's brilliant. If everything was robust on the Mk2 I'd give that 5 stars.

Great item. Quick to put up & take down and easy to carry about with the backpack/bag. Only gripe is that the zips on the hide are somewhat poor and the front lower zip already is unusable. If these were heavy zips like the bag there would be no probs I think. The strap to hold the hide together when taken down, which is attached inside the zip at the front bottom, creases this zip when strapped round the broken down hide leading to problems with the zip. I cut off the strap and use it as an individual, stand alone strap. If it was fastened outside the hide this would not be a problem. Good overall. Got some great photographs using this hide!

I haven’t used it yet in the field, but I have tried it out and it is quite spacious for both body and equipment.

The picture is misleading: there is no "hole" for the camera lens. You have to unzip the top panel so you are visible to birds and wildlife. It is not waterproof. It is difficult to get in and out. It is difficult to pack up etc

I purchased this product for my husband for his birthday. it arrived within two days and on his birthday he opened it, was delighted and immediately set it up in the garden to take some pictures of birds that use the bird feeders. Great present.

Really surprisingly well made for the money. Easy to erect and a reasonably good size. I bought primarily for winter astro-photography, so room for 6" scope with DSLR mounted, plus space for a heater all available. Robust construction with two integral seats, yet packs up small, A very good product for the price and efficiently delivered by Stealth gear

After winning this hide as part of my prize in a photograohy competition, I have had the chance to use it many times. The quality of this hide is excellent, the design has obviously been done by someone who knows wildlife photography, and the needs of the modern day person who likes to take images of birds and animals in the wild.An excellent product that I will be using for many years to comeBill DohertyWildlife photgrapher
