Optimal Gel+Foam Chair Comfort Cushion for Home, Car, Stadium, Office and more

I was having a sore hip after riding in the car for anytime greater than 45 minutes. This seat has helped my greatly by lessening this discomfort. It also makes riding in the plane seats much more comfortable. It is easy to carry even through the airport as it folds in half with handles for transport. It makes any seat more comfortable and is easy to transport. I have had the seat for a month now with no complaints regarding the quality and durability of the product. I would recommend this item, in fact I intend to get several for Christmas presents.

This is the 3rd cushion I have tried. Of all of them this is the most uncomfortable. I first tried it in my office chair, but could only stand it for about an hour. I tried it in the car and it was worse. It appears that if it gets only slightly cool it turns into a rock.

I find this portable seat to be comfortable and easy to transport, but with an unacceptable oil residue that comes off on clothing.Good:+ Built in handles make transporting easy, even if they make the cushion look a bit odd when in use.+ The seat has good ventilation holes which go all the way through to the bottom.+ The bottom is a nice sturdy plastic.+ It is comfortable in to sit on, either in an office chair or on a hard surface.Not Good:- When I first opened the package, I noticed a slight smell, and the instructions had an oily stain covering part of the paper. I could only hope that this was from the factory and not from the cushion. Alas, I found that the cushion felt a bit cool in use; and then I realized that whatever that oil is, it came off on my clothes! This is not a good design and is unacceptable. Perhaps in time the oil will leach out or something; if that happens I'll update the review.- When carrying, the hard side that fits on the seat (as opposed to the soft side that you actually sit on) is folded to the inside. It would be nicer if that hard side were on the outside. The way it is designed, any dirt that comes in contact will be on the side that touches your pants. For a portable cushion, this design is not optimal.Summary: A good design and comfortable sit are ruined by oily residue that comes off on the clothes. Not recommended.

I have had this cushion a little over a month and the folding seam is already cracked and falling apart with normal use. Poor quality vs. defective product. I would have thought the cushion would have lasted longer than a month. I attempted to reach the company for a replacement and never got a response from them. No phone number to reach Amazon to see if they wound assist with this defective product. Overall, the cushion is comfortable, but does slide easily off my office chair, which is mesh. I had to get a sticky pad to keep it on the chair. Very disappointing to be out $50.00 and to have a company not willing to stand behind their product, I guess that's why they dropped the price to $20.00. The least they should have done was replace a defective cushion.

Perfect for my new car - to help me sit up a little higher! Love it!

I am a police dispatcher and I sit for at least 8 hrs a day. I was experiencing daily pain in my lower right buttocks which also interfered with my exercise. After researching this cushion I decided to order and now I am having pain free days! I highly recommend it to anyone who has to sit for long periods of time.

It doesn't add all that much extra padding for the long sit. I didn't want to spend what they wanted for some of the other ones so, once again it's true, you get what you pay for.

Not as comfortable as I hoped but getting used to it.
