trackball won't open files

Technically this doesn't qualify as a question, but I guess you're basically asking how to resolve this issue you're having. Although I didn't notice that issue with mine, I did notice a huge lack of precision with this product. I also noticed it wasn't optical, but used old-school X and Y rollers to move the cursor, which eventually get dirty causing a loss of precision. Since I had purchased it with gaming in mind, and couldn't tolerate this precision issue, I junked it and went with a competing product. Because this issue took a while to reveal itself, by the time I realized it wasn't going to work, it was too late to send it back for a refund.

I have never tried that. We have purchased 3 or 4 throughout the years but the unit can definitely withstand a beating!! we now use a touch screen PC.

Hello We found a possible issue using a USB hub. We recommend connecting to the Mac directly and restarting the computer. We also recommend updating the Mac OS to a higher level such as 10.13.4 (High Serria) or Mojave 10.14
