If you have a grill master or the beginning of one in your family. This is the apron for them. My husband is 6’5”. Fits perfectly and is not heavy. Pocket placement works well for what we do.

I have to be honest, I wasn’t expecting a lot at the price point. I am pleasantly surprised. The leather is light and supple. The creases from folding into the shipping box do not affect the hang. Straps are securely stitched with a box and cross tacking. Straps adjust easily and hold the apron comfortably while allowing movement. Strap arrangement also holds coverage when going from standing to sitting. Note that the straps hold the apron wrapped loosely around the body and legs. In the product advertisement, it appears the apron is spread like a sail (presumably to show how large it is). The actual hang is MUCH better. The pockets are an afterthought for me, but if there is any weakness in the apron, this is the spot. Tops of the pockets are just raw cut leather. No edging done. I expect that with use, those edges will roll over. How that will affect function remains to be seen.Bottom line? I’m very pleased and would certainly recommend this apron to my fellow hobbyists that need more protection from sparks and splashes than a cloth apron will provide.

Works great for my father who is in a wheel chair. The larger apron allows him to protect both his body and his wheel chair from welding slag. A great outside the box solution for his unique welding protection needs

My husband has to sit when working and found all other welding aprons did not adequately cover his legs when welding. This apron does a great job, he has been really pleased with it.

Easy on easy off, I stick weld in a shop and wear nylon fishing shirts that button up, because they dry so fast.Got tired of replacing shirts because the front area was full of burns, this apron works as intended. Will buy again when needed

To short

It is very large.....Seems to lend itself well for personalizing by shortening and lengthening various straps, quality of material seems very good and heavy. I welded with it a few times and it delivered well.

Sadly it’s not as pictured or described, I am 5’9” yes on the large size hence the purchase, the picture shows the apron down to the models knees, what was received didn’t reach the waist, was short by about 2” so definitely not suitable for my needs.Product quality except for the above is fantastic, waxed canvas is stiff when knew and will soften over time, if not for the length issue I would have been happy to keep.
