Compact design and powerful amplification
Pro's:The product is nice and compact. It does a great job amplifying sound. This was a single ear model. Decided against the two ear plug model only because you sometimes need a break from having an earplug in your ear. Charge with a USB-C cable included. Volume setting does stay after power off/on.Con's:No way to cycle the volume down, only up. So, you have to cycle up through the loudest settings to get back to a lower volume if it is too loud. No power adapter in the box. The ear plug connection uses the same port to charge the device. So, you have to swap connections to charge and then back to ear plug. Might not be a problem to start, but we'll see how long it lasts before we have problems with that connection. Also, it would be nice to have a different color indicator light on the device when it is fully charged instead of just no light.

Compact Single Ear Amplifier
This personal sound amplifier rechargeable hearing aid is for a single ear. It is tiny compared to what I expected, which is a good thing, making it very discrete. The battery life is amazing. I did not notice much squealing or static sounds. It is easy to set the volume of amplification one needs to the correct level. This hearing aid is essentially an amplifier, so it amplifies all the sounds around and even the sounds one does not want to hear. This hearing aid is a good value to try if one has only one ear that needs amplification.

Amplifies all sound, not just television!
As sound amplifiers go this is definitely going to make things louder. The only issue is that it makes everything louder and cannot be tuned to television sounds or things within a certain distance. Anything from the fans, microwave, dishwasher and television are all increased so it can be get jumbled. The key is to use it as much as possible and the brain can start to adjust in the same way it does with regular hearing. I think a small tone dial would have gone a long way at making this a whole lot better at the tinny sound quality. Average.

Very Nice Sound Amplification - No Feedback
I am reviewing the HOLFENRY Personal Sound Amplifier-Rechargeable Hearing Aids For Senior with Noise Celling,Hearing Aid Amplifier,Over the Counter Hearing Aids for Adults,Hearing Assistance Sound Amplifier, For Single Ear (For One Ear).I got this sound amplifier for my mom to try. She is deaf in one ear, and hard of hearing in the other ear. We both tried this device, and we had similar thoughts and experiences. This sound amplifier is a bit better than ones we've tried in the recent past. It didn't have any feedback whatsoever. It was quite loud and easy to hear on any volume. It seemed to only pick up the sounds nearest to you, which cut down on the sound of total chaos in more crowded public places, like stores, etc. My mom could hear the TV better and more clearly. Though, we both noticed that it didn't pick up the TV sounds as well as a conversation, due to the TV speakers being a bit further away. Still, it was a help to my Mom, in any case. This sound amplifier is a tiny rechargeable device with an earbud for one ear. It has a neck lanyard, and a clip on the rear, in order to make carrying it easy. It comes with a type-C charging cord, but no charging plug/brick is included. It comes with 3 flexible earbud pieces of different sizes to fit different ear sizes. The instructions are super easy to understand. This device has one large button, which you long-press to turn on or off. There are different tones to indicate on and off. It's unfortunate that there isn't an on/off indicator light. When charging, there is an orange light that appears on the power button. The light goes off when the device is fully charged. There is only one volume button, unfortunately. It cycles between Volume 1 up to Volume 10, and then circles back to Volume 1 again. There is a beep for each press of the volume button. Volume 10 is indicated with a long beep tone. Volume 1 is indicated with 3 short, quick beep tones. It's too bad that there isn't a simple up and down volume rocker button, but it is functional enough.Overall, we both thought this was a nice sound amplifier. It has a few areas where it could be improved, but it worked nicely, and with no feedback. We gave it 4 stars for that reason.

Decent sound amplification; very easy to use
I like this amplifier/hearing aid, mainly because it's simple and straight-forward to set up and use. The main body with the microphone is about 1" wide x 2" tall x 0.5 thick. It's got a clip on the back so that it can be clipped to a shirt pocket, a lapel, between buttons on a shirt or blouse, or belt (although I'm not sure the earpiece cord is really long enough for most most people to clip this on their belt or pocket). There's one cord that goes up to a single earpiece that can be used in either ear. It also comes with a charging cable, but no charger - not a problem for me...I've got several chargers lying around complete with a variety of cable types already plugged in.Using it couldn't be simpler. There are two buttons - one turns it on or off, the other lets you adjust the volume. If I were to design this, I would certainly include two volume buttons, one for up and one for down. The current design uses the single button to cycle upwards through all available levels, going to the quietest level if you continue to push the button after reaching the loudest level. Easy to use, but if it's already louder than I want, I don't like having to make it louder before it gets quieter.I found the earpiece comfortable to wear (different sizes are included) for extended periods. I felt the sound quality was fine - certainly in line with other aids in this price range, and better than some I've tried that were more expensive. I was concerned that moving while wearing this would cause issues from the amplifier body or the wire rubbing against my clothes, but I was surprised that it really wasn't much of a problem under normal circumstances. I imagine if you're running hard or jumping up and down that the this would cause a lot of undesired noise. Wasn't a problem for me though while walking or riding a bike.As I said, I really like the simplicity of this model. You've got the body with easy to use controls that can be clipped in a variety of locations, and you've got one corded earpiece that you can use in whichever ear makes sense for you. Plus, the controls are easy to use - having the separate body means that the buttons are easily found and pressed, regardless of the size of your fingers and hand. There's a lot to be said for this level of convenience. It's certainly not a premium multi-thousand dollars hearing aid, but if you're looking for simple sound amplification in an easy to use package, this would be work looking at.
