StoltzIndustries RP-444 - 4" Marine Bow Roller Stop with 1/2" Shaft (Colors May Vary - Yellow, Orange, etc.)

I managed to run my sailboat right into a channel marker, pretty much destroying the bow roller wheel and its axle. The wheel had been replaced by the previous owner, and was one of these Stoltz units. Since this is really intended to go on a boat trailer, to stop the boat's forward movement, I looked for another 4 inch wide wheel that would fit. I found zip, so back in one of these went. It works very well as an anchor roller wheel. In fact, my new windlass would not feed chain properly - it sits too low, so I used a second Stoltz wheel, as seen in the first picture, to help feed the chain at a better angle. You can't go wrong at the price, particularly as it's very good quality. Oddly, one wheel came with just this one piece, where another order came with this, the axle, and two side pieces (see third photo), bringing the overall width to about eight inches. I would assume you're just getting the center section.

These are the most durable of boat rollers that are non-marring on the market. I have had these in the past and they went with my boat trailers when upgrading to a larger boat. They do cost more than other brands, but they are well worth the price. I have had similar products that just don't hold up. I like doing a job one time and having it last and not having to do it all over again and not putting my boat in danger of getting damaged with damaged rollers.

These are well made rollers. Had to return this due to fit and decided not to cut it. It was previously on our bow roller and prior owner cut it to make it fit. It lasted 10+ years.

Better than rubber rollers

It's working as expected.

This roller lives up to its reputation. I put this on my Xpress boat trailer after the factory bow roller marred the bottom and flattened. The stoltz hasn't flattened and did not mark the bottom of the boat. Great product.

Replaced my old rubber bow roller that always marred the paint. As advertised this roller does not leave any marks on the bow of the boat, which is what I want to avoid, as I trailer my boat each W/E.
