Cheap & good solution for VGA KVM.Works great in combination with the StarTech USB KVM Crash cart adapter [B00IZGR6IK] to maintain a rack of PC in LAB environment without having to keep monitors on everything.

Deployed these units in a workplace environment to make use of monitors with VGA inputs on new workstations with Displayport outputs. Not only do the devices work without issue, but they're daisychained through a DP+ splitter for multi-display capabilities. Everything works perfectly and it was as easy as just plugging it in.

These worked, whereas, competitive products did not.

My company purchased new workstations but did not need monitors. The new workstations do not have vga ports for the monitors so these worked perfect!

I have ordered several 5 packs, but one of them was a bad batch in which 3 of them would not recognize the monitor or the computer would not register they were plugged in. Just test all of them when you get them to make sure they work. Amazon's return/replacement policy on these was top notch as always, and all the other ones I have received have been good, so it just must have been a bad batch.

Second time ordering these boys. They work great and allow us to connect older LCD monitors to HP mini PCs.

We mainly used these for connection between our laptop docking stations and monitors. Since we purchase in bulk, we usually go for the better price. This time it bit us in the bottom, one of the adaptors was defective. You would not think an adaptor wouldn't be bad, but after about 30 minutes of trouble shooting, - I finally tried a completely new set of adaptors and both monitors came alive. Not that big of a deal if it was for personal use, but since it was for work, 30min out of your day is valuable, more than the money you saved by buying cheaper.
