This was a lovely read. Piper surprised me that she would take such a risk with a stranger and dante at that without knowing him. Then to propose a business deal and think that will make it acceptable. Lovely otherwise

This book is #2 of the Brides for Billionaires series.

I went on an HP binge and read 4 one after the other. It wasn't a guilty pleasure this time because I didn't enjoy them.+++Spoilers+++This was again the tried and tested formula of the h being a virgin, sleeping with the gorgeous/alpha/billionaire H and getting pregnant. They enter a an engagement with a view to a marriage of convenience. The H wants the engagement to win a business deal. The h gets security for her and her baby. Obviously the h can't resist the H and she breaks their agreement by sleeping with him. How does he react? He's rude, awful and distant. All to do with the way he was brought up or whatever. He won't introduce the h to his mother because it's not real. He won't meet the h's mother for the same reason. I haven't read this author before but she follows the formula. I guess I'm done with HP for a while.

This book has gotten a lot of low reviews. This format has been used many times. However I thought the author did an excellent job with the story line.Piper lost her father a year ago. For one night, she just wanted to forget the pain of her lost. She spend the night with a gorgeous man, and did things she had never done before. yes she was a virgin. No names was ever exchanged. Weeks later, and 4 pregnancy test later Piper finds out that one night she and Gorgeous man created a baby. She was flipping through a magazine, and finds out just who she had spent the night with. Not only is he handsome, but he is filthy rich too. Piper doesn't care about the money or how much he is worth. She wants her baby to have the same father daughter or son relationship that she had with her own dad. She wants her baby to grow up with a dad. She travels to Rome to tell him that he will be a father. Lets just say he didn't take news too well. He did however need to improve his image so he could get a business deal. You can't have a better imagine, than the imagine of a family man. So he proposed marriage. It was suppose to be like a cold hard business deal. Piper went along with it for a little while, then she found her backbone. It turned out to be a decent book.

They literally had a one night stand. Never exchanging names. She finds out that she is pregnant with a notorious playboy after reading an article in a newspaper. He finds out that she is pregnant. He needs to change his image of he is going to be able to increase his portfolio in business. He gets her to become his fiancee for an important business deal. Will it be enough for love to grow?

I started reading this series starting with this book. I really liked how Ms. Thomas gave this formula plot a boost with a strong heroine & a drop dead gorgeous hero whom you wanted to thump on the head but redeemed himself at the end. I will definitely read the rest of the series.
