Simply Stunning!
This is absolutely beautiful! The detail is amazing and it's extremely well-made - very authentic looking. I was torn between using it as a throw to cover the sofa or as a bed spread to protect my duvet from my dogs who love to sprawl across it most of the day. In the end I decided to cover the bed in the spare room as it's much too good for the dogs to ruin. The photos really don't do it justice, you have to see it to appreciate how lovely it is. In fact I was so impressed with the red one that I got a black & white one specifically to hang on the wall of my living room. It's not often you find such a gorgeous piece of cloth such as this, large enough to cover a queen size double bed at the price it's at. I love a bargain! Disclaimer: I received this item at a discount in exchange for an honest review and as such would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone thinking of buying. You won't regret it!

A kaleidoscopic swirling pattered print to liven up many a room
This tapestry is beautiful. Its detail and design is lovely. You can use it as a wall covering, as a table cloth or - as I've done - as a throw on a sofa to liven up the living room. If you're using this on a bed, bear in mind that it is thin cotton, so wouldn't work as the main bed covering except in the hottest of summers. However it does look lovely placed over the top of a duvet. Being made in India, it's clearly an authentic product, screen printed using traditional methods. Its similar to batik prints I saw being made when on holiday in Sri Lanka. I believe these used the same production process. The red colour and pattern is definitely detailed, "hippyish". However it's still extremely stylish and is reminiscent of the kaleidoscopes you used to look into as a kid. The size is pretty huge, almost 7 foot square. I'm really pleased with it, and I'd recommend it to anyone. It would also make a superb and unusual gift.I received this item at a discount in return for a true and unbiased review.
