Works well - 3 year old loves it
The media could not be loaded. This works well especially now the darker nights have come.It comes with 3 discs with 8 different dinosaurs on each.Takes 2 AA batteries, with a screw on cover.Easy button on the side for little fingers to easily turn it on and off, and easy enough to operate.Good fun for dinosaur fans - and as you can see our cat likes it too.

It’s okay
The media could not be loaded. Jaques London is usually renowned for making high quality toys but, unfortunately, I can’t say the same for this. If this were less expensive (currently 12.73) I would say it is a great stocking filler or treat for the kids, but it isn’t worth any more than a fiver.Firstly it is made from very cheap, lightweight plastic and requires 2 x AA batteries which are not included. For the current price I would expect it to be rechargeable. The torch itself isn’t particularly bright so you have to use it in low light areas. The beam/aperture size is also VERY SMALL so the resultant projection isn’t bigger than an inch square. It does look clearer in person than the picture (the video is fairly accurate) but still, not the best. The picture reels slot easily into the torch and it’s not too hard for me as an adult to spin through the pictures but my 5 year old really struggles to turn the picture wheels as they are pretty tough.Overall this is a cool item but way too overpriced for what it is.

Mini projector
Our kids absolutely love these mini projector toys and this one has been a big hit, especially with our 4 year old. They're a fantastic accompaniment to stories in a dark room and the kids particularly like playing with this as part of den building activities! It can sometimes be a little fiddly to put the little discs in and out properly and focus the pictures in but they mostly manage to do it on their own once you help the first couple of times.Great piece of old technology that our kids still love playing with now! I'd recommend it for kids aged 3 to 7 years old.

below average
in reality the projected images are no more than 10cm x 10cm any larger and they become blurred, also even when in focus it can be difficult to make out what it actually is

Fun and informative
My grandchildren were so excited by this torch and I love how it is educational too! The torch is the perfect size for small hands and it appears really durable, because it has been dropped a few times and remains the same. It is comfortable to hold and works well, the pictures are recognisable and the slides are easy to insert. Definitely recommend!

Projects mini dinosaurs onto walls.
Now dont expect UHD quality dinosaurs lighting up a whole wall as that is not going to happen. You have the power of 2AA batteries. This will cast a small image (best quality when its under a foot wide) onto a light wall or ceiling. There is a focus ring which works. The images are of average quality. You click the wheel to change the image. There are no names on the image or with the packaging so they look like imagination rules! As a toy, it works. Dont expect kids to learn anything. One interesting thing though, it will teach children about slides and images from this projector type. With luck some might want better!
