Works great, not puppy proof
I've had this for over a year and had no problems with it until our puppy ate it. Set up is easy, sound quality is good, battery is not the greatest but it's okay. Still worth the money, I ordered another one.

Alexa products are JUNK!
Piece of junk! Have to scream at it or stand right beside it to get it to respond/work. Have to yell commands multiple times but tv commercial comes on that says “Alexa” & it starts trying to do that command. Randomly digs like it is listening when no one has said Alexa or anything like the word Alexa. Most of the time it “doesn’t know the answer” to simple questions. Image how you would speak the stupidest person you know then dumb it down more & she MIGHT understand. Limited speaking time so if you take a breath or pause even briefly like you would in normal speaking it cuts you off. Only good for turning lights on & off. Not to mention all the glitches these Alexas have: random flashing lights when I’m trying to sleep, alarm that I didn’t set went off in middle of night that wouldn’t shut off - had to get up & power unit off to make it stop. Don’t waste your money on Alexa products! 2nd Alexa I’ve purchased, they are both garbage. Over priced light switch with the ability to play music or prepurchased audio books. Commercials are a lie, this machine doesn’t do all they advertise. Purchased a google home..it responds so much better, actually knows the answers questions it’s asked, can even send driving directions to your cell phone & much more.

Alexa is amazing! With this speaker you can get great mobile music through Buletooth without wifi
So easy to set up, you can set up both the Bluetooth speaker and basic Alexa functionality with the ilive app (of course you will need the Alexa app to add skills and games to Alexa). The battery doesn't have as much life as my cell phone; but it is still nice to be able to unplug and travel with the functionality of a portable Bluetooth speaker! The downside here is you can't leave Alexa running 24/7, after leaving her on a few hours she stops answering questions. I an not sure if it is because my home network is slow, or this speaker just can't handle it perhaps Echo could.

New Problem
My unit Has been working fine for 5 years. I changed internet companies yesterday and now it will not connect to the internit. Keeps saying the password is wrong and to verify it. There is nothing wrong with the password. It was working fine with the old internet but it just won't connect to the new internet. Anyone have any ideas to get this to work again?

Was awesome right out of the box...and 6 months later, not so much.
Wanted a replacement for my Amazon Tap speaker. Loved the wireless with Alexa to take out by the pool. Battery life went downhill after a few years and the speaker reverted back to having to 'tap' to use Alexa to control it, when they had updated the app to make it straight voice control. Found this speaker and it seemed all my problems were solved! For about 6 months. The battery life dropped to an hour at best. Then the charging port went bad. It still works, but I have to lay the speaker on it's side to put pressure on the cord to keep it in 'just the right spot' to charge/power it. At this point, I have an extension cord run out to the deck to plug the speaker in so it's on long enough for me to get my workout in. Sad that it turned out to be a waster of $. On to the next great idea I guess. Save your money.

Don't waste your money.
Sound quality isn't terrible for what it is, and battery life isn't that great. The bad part is the overall build quality. It just doesn't last very long. It starts to disconnect from wifi a lot, then the speaker makes noises constantly. It's just not a good buy.

Super loud, use it outside working in my backyard to play Pandora Radio, Alexa weather reports
This is my second iLive Concierge, I have one in my study/Exercise room and this current one I use outside in the backyard to play Pandora radio while I work. I can hear it all over the backyard loud and clear and later I use it in my bedroom to ask about the weather next day and wake me up after at certain times in the morning. I always have it plugged in so I do not know the true battery life. I unplug it and move from outside to inside so it is on battery only so long before I plug it in again. Also I have had Alexa tell me jokes from Amazon Prime ebooks that was cool.

THE SOUND IS BROKEN
I actually bought two of these (for mom & mom-in-law). The first one arrived and worked well and had good sound. However, the 2nd one clearly had a sound issue and was screetchy. I wanted to return but it was already too late. I am stuck with the lemon. The quality control on this product can be significantly improved.
