Great gsk set no leaks

I was able to use about 90 percent of the kit. Everything seemed to fit perfect. The only thing that was missing was the exhaust manifold gasket, which was purchased for $10 from my local Ford parts store. There was also one very large gasket (pic), one gasket that looked like it could be the manifold gasket but it was a little too big and one little nut (pic) that could only be for the impeller shaft but didn't fit. I also posted a pic of the gasket and part number that had to be purchased from Ford. My truck is a 99 but it was built in late 98 so that could have had something to do with not having the needed gasket and the 2 extra gaskets and extra nut. After installing the turbo everything works perfectly. I did notice a little screech noise at first that worried me but I think that was just from the turbo not having oil on the initial start up, everything seems find now. Overall a good product for a good price. There were a few sets for cheaper but sometimes it's better to pay a bit more and receive a higher quality product. Hopefully this one was a higher quality than the ones for $39.

My truck went down and this kit was delivered quick fast and in a hurry. And honestly rebuilding and installing the kit was super easy the worst part was just getting the turbo out of the truck

Bushings to large to fit in housing bore. Sent back and bought different one.

Everything worked good except the brass bushings. They are the wrong size.

Pulled the turbo out and installed this upgraded kit along with a new wicked wheel turbo wheel. Improved power and sound and nearly no turbo lag.

Item is as advertised, fit my turbo, is universal so there are 2 O rings that you will not use, as the kit is for both the TP38 and the GTP38 turbo. And it gives you all new bolts which is a plus! However, it does not come with installation instructions as the listing clearly says. It comes with a slip of paper that tells you to go to a web address, and that web address don't work. Gives you an error code instead. Other than the instructions, I'm satisfied with the kit.
