mojawa Run Plus - Bone Conduction Swimming Headphones - Blue

I bought a pair of the Mojawa Run Plus headphones earlier this month. I have had bone conduction headphones for swimming and non-aquatic purposes for a number of years including early and later generations of FINIS and Shokz. I chose the Mojawa after watching a video about the latest generation bone conduction headphones on Andy's Tech Tone on YouTube, never having heard of the company before. They are easily the best set of bone conduction headphones I have used. They are exceptionally good in the water with an audio quality that is excellent for music but equally so for the spoken voice in audiobooks. This is what I wanted. They are good as well out of the water. By chance I managed to borrow both a cheaper competitor and a more expensive one. The Mojawa won hands down. They are comfortable and easy to use. One early glitch was the touch pad which is affected by the water in MP3 mode. The instructions on how to lock the touch pad were not clear at all. But an email to customer service at the company was answered promptly and I sorted it out (a quick quadruple press of the power button while in Bluetooth mode, which results in a fifth final 'plip' sound to indicate they are locked). Then move to MP3 mode by the double click (click and hold to be precise). A call out to Jessie in customer service who was outstanding in assistance. I don't tend to do reviews but these are so good, I wanted to post. Yes, the system of loading MP3 files system is laborious but that's the same for all bone conduction headphones in the water. And using AudioHijack (freeware) it is easy to convert audiobooks into MP3 files and I can swim for hours. Brilliant headphones and strongly recommended.

Bought these and the touch pad stopped working after using them six or seven times. I contacted the manufacturer directly and there after sales team were so helpful. New replacement head phones were sent. Buy with confidence there support if needed is 1st class. Headphones are great with good sound quality and long battery life.

Bought these a year ago and they worked ok but needed to wear ear plugs to shut out background noise however, I’ve just charged them up again and now they won’t power up at all tried everything but they still won’t work.

The headphones have a beautiful appearance, good sound quality, good waterproof effect, long battery life, and simple operation.

Bought mine in Dec 2023 and my wife started stealing them the first week so I bought her some and we both love them. I hate having to carry my phone to exercise so the MP3 function is very important to me. My MP3 function stopped working in August 2025 and I email customer service. They tried to guide me through updates but after that didn’t work they sent me brand new ones. I can’t comment on swimming because I haven’t tried that yet but all other functions are great. They stay tight to my head which helps with the sounds where others I have owned never did. Their customer service was thorough and quick to respond, the best I have ever had off of an Amazon purchase. I am sure I will stick with this brand for all my exercise needs for years to come.

complicated buttons, sound not too clear

Worked for a year then the charger cable overheated and melted whilst charging the headset. Device now useless

I received a replacement pair for the original set 2 weeks ago and today they stopped working completely,exactly the same as the first pair. I bought the original pair in March. Such a pity because when they work the sound is excellent but while the company have a no quibble replacement attitude it takes weeks for the new pair to arrive from Hong Kong.I bought a much cheaper pair on Amazon while I was waiting and they are still good.

Updated review: I'm updating my review after got some help from the seller. The company customer service is outstanding. With my initial copy issue, they reached out to me and provided some instruction to solve my problem. They also provided multiple solutions for solving my head shape didn't quite working with the unit until found a solution for me. Really grateful for their persistence in standing behind their product. I also had chances to test the unit in the water. Since I wear goggle and a cap, they pushed the unit in a better position, which does not causing any issue for me. I was able to listen to music the whole time while I swam for 2000 meters. No longer bored during lap swimming! There are a few times, the button was pushed by the water and changed to single loop, and changed back, but it's because I was in and out of water in fast speed. I have no issue with that. Definitely this will be my companion for swimming. Again, great company to work with. Old review: Mostly pretty ok, but a couple of issues with this headphone. First of all it dig into my right side when I wear it. Takes about 15 min to start feeling pain. I have a smaller head. Some times it won't let me copy some of my mp3 songs, and kept telling me errors. I had no trouble playing those songs and had no problem store to other storage. Haven't test in water yet, planning to go once I can get more songs in.

El sonido es fantástico , la batería dura unas 6 horas a todo volumen y es cómodo de llevar y usar.Además de bonito(rosa).:)

Hm, was soll man dazu sagen. Also ersten, ja... Es sind keine In-, oder Over Ears. Der Sound ist immer bei Knochenschall mau.. Aber hier war der Sound extrem blechernd. Das störte extrem bei Teams und Telefonaten. Die Lautstärke ist okisch. Den Bass kann man mit dem Tool seiner Wahl ein wenig verbessern. Der Sitz ist okisch. Der Sound draußen ist mau. Mein Anwendungszweck ist: Office - Teams - Telefonieren und Musik hören. Wer gute Musik mit Bass hören möchte, braucht Over-, oder In-Ear Köpfhörer.

Well I have using for many years a bone conduction headphones from other brand but I wanted to try something different. At the beginning I was excited because the sound improvement are significant, but specially the possibility of go from a run to swim with the same device. Unfortunately the headphones fail (but later I learn, thanks from the advice of customer service) that I should suppress the volume touch button when swimming to avoid any failure; besides that I receive without any problem a new pair of headphones. Which are working without any problems. Even as Industrial designer and triathlete I share some opinions to improve the product, and receive great response from the brand; which is not easier in other brands, so in my case the experience until now is great.
