Amazing Motherboard
After having this motherboard for almost a whole year I have only the best feedback about it. This thing is amazing! I love ASUS’s products and this one is exceptional. The BIOS is very clean and there are a lot of support videos out there on what settings to use. My PC is an all white build and the MB looks really clean in it. It is very fast to boot up and I run all kinds of games and have no issues with my setup. I know I went with DDR4 ram but honestly I don’t think DDR5 will make much of a difference for a while. There are plenty of USB ports on it but I do find myself using all of them. This is sitting in the ROG Hyperion PC tower and it looks like it was made specifically for it!

Great board, but make sure you know which model you really need
I purchased this board due to the brand/color wifi 7 etc.. It has plenty of drive support as I have 5 m.2 drives and 2 sata ssds on this board. What I didn't realize is that audio on this mobo was lacking compared to the rest of the models. It only has two audio outputs on the mobo mic and output . I have an older Logitech z 5.1 system and require 3 outputs alone for the speakers which this board doesn't have. (If I would of paid more attention to the other models this wouldn't be an issue). I did buy a new creative sound card for the pcie slot, BUT that slot is un accessible due to video card size (again, I wasn't paying attention). Anyhow, the board is great, wifi 7 and ddr 5 support and it supported the I9-14900k out of the box. No bios update needed. Doesn't look bad in an all-white build.

Great product even though Asus is 50/50 atm
I love it. A lot of great features and it works great with my 14900k

No drivers included
Good cool looking mother board, but it came with ZERO drivers and is giving me a bunch of blue screen errors from time to time.

a little coil whine on start-up. You need the wifi antenna for the bluetooth
I started with a AMD build from a Black Friday sale and had the AMD version of this board (I forget the number). While I loved that board, I just couldn't live with the 30-45 second start-up due to the memory "training" on every power up. I returned that board and cpu and bought the Intel version (this board). It is a beautiful board in function and aesthetics. Everything is great except there is a 6 second coil from the port area while when I first power the board. I can live with that because it goes away as soon as the drivers load. I almost freaked out because I couldn't get my Bluetooth to work. After a reddit search I learned that the Wifi antenna must be plugged in to get bluetooth. I'm not a fan of that, because I have Lan and the antenna adds clutter. But, I'll try to live with it. I still give the board 5 stars for the performance and functionality. I am not sure what to think about the Armoury Crate bloatware. For now, I am running without it.

Asus Customer service is so bad you should never buy a motherboard from them
A dead USB slot or DIMM slot is fairly normal in motherboards, and therefore a proper RMA process is to be expected from any company selling them. Here is all the ways ASUS failed to handle such a simple process:Starting the RMA is fairly standard, there is a long web form that is paired with Fedex one-day shipping to get the motherboard to their tech support. Note that the reason for my particular RMA is 2 dead DIMM slots, which should not be a repair, but a replace, as it would be cheaper to do so for any company. The customer service tech I spoke to said the same and estimated I would get my replacement within 5 days. I shipped out on a Wednesday, and Fedex confirmed that it arrived at their facility early Thursday morning. There is no contact information, phone or email, to directly talk to the technical repair team, you only have a link with a barebones summary of the current RMA status. This failed to update that they received the board until the following Saturday (2 days later), and dated the receive as Saturday (provably false, as visible in the Fedex tracker).Note that if you do want to call anyone for information, your only option is the basic support team, which requires you recite the full serial number every time instead of a case number, and has almost no information on anything going on, as the repair team is separate. No further updates were made until the following Tuesday, where it was listed as "in repair, due to be completed on Saturday". Again, a full inspection of the motherboard prior to shipping it showed the only issue was DIMM slots being dead, which would not be repairable. This is the first sign they were doing something wrong.Thursday I received an email stating it had repair not covered under warranty, and pictures to boot. The repair team had heavily damaged the CPU socket, which was not previously damaged, and should not have been touched when diagnosing an issue for DIMM slots. They wanted to bill me $130.00 (more than half the board's cost) to repair an issue that they caused, and they still hadn't looked into or mentioned the original issue. You have 3 options in this scenario: pay for the repair, have them send you back the damaged product, or dispute the claim. When disputing the claim, you are only allowed attachments and a freeform mere 100 characters to type up the issue. It is insanely hard to word the issues in such a small field, but what else are your options? Contact the inquiry team? Of course, they do not have a phone number or email, and the general support line has no way to put you in contact with them. When they inevitably claim that you have no proof they did the damage, they just send an "it's not covered" email (Friday), again with no response options available. You can't even go into the previous email and reject the claim, as it is disabled while the claim is in "disputed" status. Calling the support line all they can do is escalate the issue, and assure you that they will call you the next day.Wednesday (not the next day), I finally received an email saying they "haven't heard from me" that actually has a callback number for the invoice support team. Calling them I was finally able to reject the claim, so I can get back the board they damaged and ship it to Amazon (required for a refund).Every step of the process is tedious, and the lack of direct phone lines to actually contact anyone is concerning for a company that should be processing RMAs fairly regularly. Do not buy ASUS, it is not worth the chance you will have to interact with their support/repair teams.
