All the pictures of the ad it showed a carbon fiber and even the words said its black carbon fiber but I really easily it was black... I had to wait few weeks for the delivery and pay import fees and when it came I was furious but didn't want to go through he hassle of returning it and fighting with fees back to the US... I was lucky that my mini has the same color Pearl Black as this piece

Most import thing is it doesn’t come with the clips that pop into the hood but you can reuse the old one if u kept them, the fit perfect and pretty easy to install and looks great. Would definitely recommend for other Mini Cooper s owners. Ps be carful when handling the trim on the edge of the hood because it’s very brittle from the heat of the turbo, mine broke off while putting this on.

The vent is carbon fiber and it’s flush mounted . This provides a sleeker and more aggressive look to the entire component. OVERALLI’m happy with the finished product.Gave a really nice appearance to my 09’ mini clubman S R55.I would recommend this product to anyone wanting a new fresh look to their hood.
