Perfect fit, easy install.
Fairly easy install, as long as your tail light screws are not rusty it should be no problem. Was put in quickly after I struggled with the rusty taillight screws.

2012 TUNDRA TAILGATE
I don't know how much an OEM product costs, but this works on my truck tailgate, although not as well as original. It was easy to install, but I would recommend wearing gloves, as it was very messy. The piston is not as strong as the original, but it works.

Works ok! Easy improvement over worn out original!
Works good and is an easy install. Be careful removing the tail light as you don’t want to break the little tab. About a five minute job if you have the tools handy. Appears well-made and a lot less expensive than the OEM part.
