I love the feeling of peppermint on my scalp first time trying this hope it works I like how’s it’s not oily at all and doesn’t have a strong smell

Product is too strong smelling

I used this product on my towel dried hair, before getting out of the shower. I massaged it in, scalp to ends, crunch bunched up my hair, then tucked it into a hair towel turban to continue drying before my detangling comb out. I was happy that my hair seemed to be tangle free, and the product felt spread out, and smells good. However, laster in the day when I was feeling the back of my head, I noticed that some of my curls were clumped and stiff. It felt like I still had dried product in my hair... it almost felt like my hair was dirty and unwashed. I think I like my curls to be more wild and soft, rather than controlled and defined. If you like the dryer ringlet look, then this may work better for you. This said, the next day it does feel pretty good, less clumpy, and just a little water/mist brings your morning har back to life for the day. It is not bad at all, but I like my hair to come out softer and free of product.

I tend to use creams to style my hair as I don’t like having crunchy curls. This product is advertised as a leave in conditioner, and I think it works great as a styling tool for my 3B hair it goes on easily and does have a lot of scent but I find that after my hair air dries, the smell is gone and it’s not unpleasant to begin with since it is rosemary and peppermint based. I do think that the olive oil in this product plays a part because when I rinse my hair in the morning, it feels as though there has been a small amount of oil applied. If you ever use oil in your hair, you will know what I am referring to. Overall, I am impressed with this product and will continue using it.

My hair looks dull. I'm not extremely fond of this very heavy peppermint smell. Definitely not for 4C hair.

Looking at the options, I think I chose the scent I had the most possibility of liking - and even then, I HATE how strongly it smells. The rosemary scent is acrid and off and just so pungent it makes it hard to focus on anything else. I also haven't noticed any change in my hair growth, even after 3-4 weeks of consistent use. My hair also retained moisture less easily after using this product and stopping to go back to my usual routine. I wouldn't buy again, but it did arrive undamaged and as promised.

This conditioner smells great, and leaves hands feeling soft and non-greasy. Goes on hair easily. It helps to tame frizz on humid days, but does not eliminate it completely. A great vegan haircare alternative!
