Much needed for eBikes!
So having an expensive eBike like I do makes it a bit worrisome to leave it out in the public as I'm in fear as soon as I leave it alone someone will take it. Coming across this bike like has made things less worrisome now, as it is a very solid bike lock.Upon opening it and using it, I noticed it is made very well and does come with everything you'd want to protect your bike. It comes with not only a steel U-style lock but also a longer rubber rope style loop as well for extra protection which is much needed in today's world. Along with that, is does come with a little mount for keeping the lock on the bike at all times. The lock has two separate keys, so at any time you can have a backup if you happen to lose the first. The U-lock does have a coating on the steel so that it won't damage any materials on a bike or whatever it is used on, and the lock housing is made of a plastic which I wouldn't prefer but it seems solid.Overall, this bike lock is solid as it comes with all the things you'd want to protect your bike and also is made well.

two locks in one
I have a few chain/cable locks and a couple of folding ones. I consider the chain/cable locks to be pure visual deterrents that won't prevent a mildly determined thief who really wants my bike/scooter. The folding locks provide a little more protection, but they're hard to secure the bike/scooter to something like a stand or pole since they have limited openings. The chain/cable locks are definitely better suited to do that.I saw this combination U-lock with chain and it provides both features/functions in the greater protection via the U-lock and immobilizing the wheel while the chain will secure it to a stand/pole. This should give more deterrence to more determined thieves to just pick a much easier target. The only negative is that the whole thing does weight quite a bit and takes up quite a bit of space on the frame. I store it in the rack bag on the bike and the cargo cage on the scooter instead of using the frame mount; I need that space for water bottles.Overall, this is the best bike/scooter lock I have. I can't say how pick-proof it is as I haven't the skills to test that. But it should be the most visually deterrent lock in my collection.

Quality lock and cable at a reasonable price
Given the features, this lock is an outstanding value. You can spend a lot more money on a U lock, and there are plenty of not-as-good locks at this same price point. The Revere is outstanding. It's made of hardened steel, which is harder to saw through. The keys feature a design (used in some automobiles) that is not easily duplicated and is pick resistant. The cable is also heavy duty and wrapped in thick nylon tubing.More impressive of all is the lifetime, no-questions-asked warranty. The combination of a quality product and a company that stands behind it can't be beat.I am very impressed with this lock and recommend it.
