Second update: It’s been another year, and the company never replace the bowl like they promised, even after four reminder emails. I cannot recommend this product or the company at all.Update: I used the bowl for several months and the bottom of it turned a bit green. I noticed that it was not shiny at all. I don’t know if the finish came off (and I potentially swallowed it) or if it was not on there and I somehow didn’t notice that before. I filed for a return, and the company was responsive at first but I have still not received a replacement and it has been a couple of months. I am very disappointed. I lowered my score to reflect this. The rest of the set is fine, but the only reason I bought the set was for the purple bowl. I am really hoping the company replaces my bowl soon.I'N new to matcha & was so excited to get this set. It came on time & was packaged incredibly well. I was a bit disappointed that my bowl didn't have the light blue rings of drizzled paint around it, just a bit at the bottom & inside. It's still pretty, but not like the one on the site. :-( Everything else is fine, the whisk works well & it fits on the stand. The only other thing is that the bottom of the spoon is quite rough so a lot of matcha powder sticks to it. I usually stir it in the tea soup to get it off to not waste it. It was a nice touch that they included a free sample of their matcha, but it is chinese matcha & probably not very good quality. Don't know if it's safe & probably won't use it. I would have much rather had a nicer spoon and a bowl like the one pictured. But the set still makes me smile to use it :-)

I really liked this product. I studied tea ceremony in Japan, and I love matcha and matcha milk tea. However, I discovered that I really cannot make it properly without the correct whisk. I am not out to buy any sort of expensive teaware right now with two toddlers running around the house. I think the bowl looks stunning for the price, I was very happy with it. For me, it poured fine, although I have not tried drinking out of it. Made some delicious tea! A great addition to the home. Made me want to declutter my kitchen (one day!) and be more Zen :)

This set has been serving me well for the past few months of matcha. The pretty white bowl is a great shape for mixing matcha, the scoop is easy to use (although now stained green), and the robins egg blue stand keeps the whisk in shape for whipping my matcha into a beautiful green foam. Everything is attractive and well-made. My only complaint is the matcha included in this set; it’s low quality and harsh. I would be thrilled if they switched it out for a matcha sieve, as that is definitely missing from this set. All other elements in this set are lovely, though.

I purchased this set as a gift for my mother. We were both charmed by the colors and the quality. Feels like a well made set, and the bowl is even prettier in real life

Love the bowl and the wisk stand the most. The wisk is ok. I think it is lower quality compared to what Ive seen in my local Asian market. I didn’t realize it when I bought it but it came with matcha tea. I was a little skeptical because of the packaging. I searched for them online to see the quality and I couldn’t actually find them. After reading the fine print and seeing it was harvested in China, was a non existent website on the jar and the color was off I decided to throw it away.But I do love the bowl!

Very nice set. Bowl is as pictured and feels very nice and comfortable in the hands. A new favorite part of my morning ritual.Extremely well packaged and thoroughly protected from damage in transit.Each part of the set seems to be of high quality and is a pleasure to use and enjoy.

The bowl is perfect for proper mixing of the matcha tea. The only problem is that water that is too hot will make the bowl difficult to touch until the contents cool. Beautiful ceramic glaze!
