Exploded shift cable
Bought this shift cable April 1st , was working as designed for my th350 . Went to the store and when going to reverse it exploded leaving me stranded. Don’t know if this is an original B&M shifter cable says it is but both my buddies (same cable) have not done this. It’s not an expensive part however it should not have done this. Could be a defective part also

Great replacement cable
The shifter cable on my race car got too close to the header extension and burned the jacket, making it inoperable. This cable has the right ends and seems to be of the same quality as the original supplied with my aftermarket shifter. Back in business!

Too much play / slack in cable
The media could not be loaded. Too much play / slack in cable to reliably shift down and then back up. The change in direction is taken up by the slack / play in the cable. I am using a B&M Pro Ratchet shifter. In the video, the eyelet did not move. Just the pivot end.

Perfect replacement
My shift cable going from my pistol grip quarter shifter to Ford C6 had got a little too close to my exhaust and no longer did cable things. This replacement worked perfectly.
